early screening color script selections - my favorite part of working on this movie was helping establish the colors with these thumbnail paintings before production started. Most are painted over early storyboards, but some I didn't have boards or designs and had to go off vibes alone. Its cool to see how some of these ideas still made it into the final film. A lot of artists down the line definitely pushed and plussed the colors, and I love how it turned out.

This is my favourite scene from the entire drama. Call me a romantic, cuz the only space I allow myself to be one is in my head.

He loved her all his life. Her only constant. Everyone and everything she ever knew or had was snatched by the sea. By her destiny. Not him, though. No matter how hard she pushed him away. He'd loved her all his life.

This scene reminds me of Pride and Prejudice so much. He didn't walk away from her till he saw she meant it. In the moment when she told him to go so she can move on with her life, he left. This too, was love.

"If, however, your feelings have changed, I would have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love... I love... I love you. And I never wish to be parted from you from this day on."

He swims across a fucking ocean in the middle of a storm when he realises she does love him. Climbs up the fucking wet rocks of the pier after that.

Insane cinematography.
