"Only for as long as you want me to be." Nikolai replied, eager to get home as quick as he can as he walked out to his car. He turned to look at her again and admired how she didnât even shiver.
She smiled a little bit and followed him to his car. "I don't know... I kind of like a bad boy. Much more fun to play with." Her tongue swiped across her lip and she winked at him.
Hm. He could do that. Nice big mansion that he had got off of daddyâs trust fund. Maybe sheâll turn out to like rich boys. âExcellent,â he drawled, standing up. âLadies first.â He gestured, opening the door.
She could already tell he was some rich kid living off his parents' money. The amount of money in his wallet, his clothes, the willingness to buy her drinks, it was obvious. Cel didn't really care about money, but the rich ones were always quite interesting. More rebellious and... adventurous. "Oh, a gentleman?" She said jokingly as she walked out of the door, brushing her hair over her shoulder, not the slightest bit bothered by the cold.
Nikolai placed money on the counter, signalling to the bartender that it was for her drinks.
He turned to her, playful smile on his face. âMy place or yours?â
"Yours~" Of course she wasn't going to let some random dude over to her house. Letting people find out about her being an assassin for hire despite being a senior in high school was not good for business. "My place is a bit of a mess."
Nikolai watched intently as she drank. She was really something. âCelsius. Now thereâs a name~ Must be a synonym for beautiful.âÂ
His eyes twinkled at that, voice coming out low. âIâm into quite a lot of things.â
"Well, you could say that." Celsius said with a smile. Placing a hand on Nikolai's arm, she decided she had had enough drinks. Just enough to let her inhibitions go down, but not even to make her completely forget the night.Â
"How about you let me find out aaaaall about those things."
Nikolai pulled out his wallet - stuffed with benjamins, sighing dramatically. âOh, where are my manners~ Iâm Nikolai. What do they call you? Other than Gorgeous, I mean.â He smiled charmingly, leaning his head against his hand.
"âŚ" Nikolai blinked. She was messing with himâ Was that a good sign? Usually girls just twirled their hair and said, âSure.â "Well⌠lots of things, if you think about it! Whip cream, caramel, honey⌠anything youâre into. Oh, and me of course."
Celsius tossed her second shot back, enjoying the burn going down her throat. "Pleasure to meet you Nikolai~ Well they call me quite a few things. Good, hot, sexy among others, but my name is Celsius. Most people call me Cel though." Or Snow if she was doing her job.Â
"Hm, I'm less interested in what I'm into and more interested in what you're into."
Oh, no. Not this time.
"Mm. You know that dress you have on looks pretty great." He stubbornly continued, not phased in the slightest by being brushed off. "You know what else would look good on you?" Cue wiggling his eyebrows.
Downing one of her shots, Celsius looked at the other and smirked again. "Shouldn't you... oh I don't know, offer to buy me a drink before you hit on me? Or at least ask for my name?" He was pretty cute.Â
"I'm not sure I understand what you mean. What else would look good on me?"
Nikolai was drinking alone at a table in the back, sipping his drink quietly while soaking in the rejection of yet another pretty girl. Tonight just wasnât his night, he thought to himself as he sighed and laid his drink down. It was then that a color of white caught his attention from the corner of his eye and he slowly turned, and for a second he thought he felt a cold draft. Was that snow? Rubbing his eyes he looked up again, eyes widening. Wow. Thatâsâ
A very sexy chick.
Standing up from his position he waltzed over to the girl, drink long forgotten along with any past rejection. Trying out his most charming smile he sat beside the girl, smiling. âWhy, hello there, beautiful.â
Celsius turned to look at the boy sitting beside her, a soft smile on her face. For a second she could have sworn it was just her and him sitting around outside as though they had known each other for years. After a second the image faded. Coming back to reality, Celsius just smirked at the boy before waving at the bartender. "Can I get two jello shooters?" Of course, if the boy was the kind she'd like to play with, he'd keep talking despite the fact that she nearly brushed him off entirely. At least, she hoped he kept trying. After all, he seemed strangely familiar.

Celsius walked into the club, black boots on and a skin tight white dress on her frame. She hadn't gotten a job recently, high school was boring, and she'd had a fake id for a really long time so why not go to some random club, get hit on and leave some guys hanging. It was always fun to mess with men way to old for her and then just brush them off like they're an annoying fly. A tiny smile crossed her face as she made her way to the bar.
Shaun gave Zaniel a look. âDonât know what?â
Varg just laughed loudly and said, âOh Zaniel, always a kidder.â And then gave Zaniel a look that said if Zaniel told Shaun he would find a way to make his life a living hell.
Zaniel shrugged, as if to say âWho, me?â Before winking at Shaun. âIts going to be hard catching the siren, Varg. Youâll have to be able to break out of her lullaby⌠Which is hard, by the way. Especially since she impersonates the people you love.â And maybe it was because Zanielâs heart was so blackened by the past that he was able to look at the Varg-siren and not be trapped by her spell. âDonât expect me to do it for you.â
"Haha I wonder why you're able to break out of her lullaby well at least I would if you hadn't stabbed me in the back, literally, about five times since I've known you." Varg replied a little too snarkily for it to seem like he was really Varg.
Shaun gave Zaniel and Varg a look of confusion, but just ignored it.
"And don't you worry about that Zaniel, I've got it covered. I wouldn't have started searching for her if I wasn't prepared."
(Shaun) *bursts into Night's house* Night! I have a question I need to ask you and I'm not leaving until I get an answer!
*shoots up, magazines flying everywhere* Snow, its not what it looks likeâ! Oh, Shaun⌠Whatâd ya wanna ask buddy?
*shrugs* You already gave me permission to court her you canât take it back now.
I take it back! I forbid you! I refuse to accept you as an in-law! *flails*
Too late!
*insert loud booming noise* WHICH ONE OF YOU FOOLISH MORTALS IS DATING MY DEAR LITTLE SISTER?
*looks around fearfully* what the hell was that-!
I AM YOUR W O R S T NIGHTMARE NIGHT.
(Shaun) *bursts into Night's house* Night! I have a question I need to ask you and I'm not leaving until I get an answer!
*shoots up, magazines flying everywhere* Snow, its not what it looks likeâ! Oh, Shaun⌠Whatâd ya wanna ask buddy?
âŚ. Night sheâs related to /you/.
âŚdammit. Donât temp her, bro! Like, seriously, please, Godddess from one guy to another I know sheâs pretty but sheâs my sis and Iâll seriously have to beat your ass if I find out sheâs pregnant. Her fault or not. Ya get me?
You remember the striping and I suggested playing monopoly. I don't think I'm going to tempt her. And I have to take over a kingdom when I'm 18. The last thing I need is a child. Besides all things considered I don't think you should be telling me dos and don'ts of a relationship
Zaniel hufffed, but decided itâd be better to say nothing. He s irked smugly at Shaun, however, before standing to his feet.
"Donât think I donât see that smirk Zaniel." Varg said calmly.Â
Shaun snatched up Zanielâs weapon and took to walking on a specific side of Varg, carefully ignoring Zanielâs aura entirely so he wouldnât have to deal with it.
"So where do we think the siren wandered off to?"
Zaniel sighed. âShe went south. But I donât know much else.â
Varg's demeanor changed suddenly. "There's a lake to the south where drownings happen. Sirens are normally around there." And then he was back to normal and smile. "To the south then!"
Shaun gave Varg a confused look, but followed him anyway.
Zaniel scoffed, watching Shaun with amusement. âI do wonder how heâll be when he wakes up with these new thoughts of Skye.â He snickered.
Varg grabbed Zaniel from behind, holding his arms down. "I'm not sure. I just know as soon as he wakes up he'll probably break your nose and I want full enjoyment from it."
Shaun sat up holding his head. "Skye...." He almost looked like he was going to cry until he saw Zaniel and Varg. And then, all he wanted to do was punch Zaniel in the face. Standing quickly, Shaun went in for a punch.
"âŚ" Zaniel smirked. "Good luck finding her. Even if I tell you, sheâs hard to track down. The siren of Styx."
Varg just shrugged. âConsidering Iâve got the devil inside my head I think Iâve got it handled finding a siren.â Varg finally let go of Zaniel, but made sure to kick Zanielâs blade out of arms reach.
Zaniel scowled at the out of reach blade and looked over to Shaun, narrowing his eyes. âWell,I suppose Iâll make my leave then.â He turned to walk away.
Varg shook his head and looped his arm through Zaniel's. "Nope! We're going to sit here and wait for Shaun to wake up and then you'll apologize and then we're all three going to go siren hunting!"
(Azazelvarg) Oh heyo Liam! *winks* How've you been?
Hm?
Oh, hello, Varg. Iâve been well. And yourself?
Well.
Iâve observed that you can be..at times.
Yeah... I know I get mean and cruel some times... I'm not proud of it.
