I took this with the means of making it b&w but felt I was doing the scene a disjustice, even if I like the other version better. I have never lived in a place that kept its green grass all year round. But here I am with a snowy-scape before me. I am breathing in the smells of petrichor, ice, and moss in February.

The threading process, with clattery scrapy metal noises and without the many many times I had to restart the coloured stripes. The loom is partially folded and the reed has been removed, so that I can reach forwards to the shafts full of heddles more easily. Every single warp end must be drawn through a heddle and woe betide if you make mistakes.
