Random musing: Hero mentioned that she’s playing Cecily in the Importance of Being Earnest (which I totally think is perfect for her 😊), but Cecily totally loves watching Nothing Much to Do in In Earnest.
Ultimately this actually means nothing for anything, just a silly little thing to think about.
Inter-LIterary-Inspired-Webseries shipping
If you could ship a LIW character with a character of an other LIW, who would they be?
ex: LoLiLo’s Hero Duke & ClassicAlice’s Nathan.
#idk about ships but our characters would be fascinated by nmtd's verges and dogberry (via theadventuresofjamiewatson)
i’d be lying if I said I hadn’t thought about the two pairs interacting. I feel like Verges and Dogberry would totally hero worship them? and want to help investigations. and Jamie would be amused, and Sherlock would act annoyed but secretly find it really endearing. vergeberry and jen swapping theories, but Sherlock realizing that they actually might be onto something
Verges and Dogberry would film Jamie filming Sherlock.

“He’s so pretty, and sweet. And he plays the piano. I mean, do you know many other fucking single queer dudes that play the piano?”
possibly the crackiest crossover trash ship to ever cross my mind

requested by anon
to the two anons who have requested specific dialog swaps, I just want to let you know I received your messages!!
i haven’t responded, because I don’t want to spoil the final edits. however, i have this week off from work/school, so I plan to be making lots of dialog swaps over the next few days!
“he’s just a silly, sweet, man-child. and he’s under my protection” - Bea about Ben, probably (in response to the recent influx of Ben hate)
pls rec me some webseries. ive watched them all tbh!
you’ve watched ALL of them? hmmm
how about some of my favorite relatively-unknown ones, like:
the Adventures of Jamie Watson (and Sherlock Holmes) - Watson and Holmes as college girls rooming together and solving mysteries! diversity and clever modernizations
Any Other Vlog - high school au Romeo and Juliet, from a different perspective. delightfully queer and much less tragic than the original.
Wave Jacked - from the makers of Jules and Monty, but not based on literature. radio shows and sock puppets and noir queer ladies!
also, some recently-started ones:
the Soliloquies of Santiago - based on Othello. very dramatic and maybe a bit more ~adult~ than some others in the lit webseries genre. lots of diversity and a love-to-hate-him star
Northbound - based on Northanger Abbey. kind of reminds me of FMWL, just a really solid adaptation with nuanced and relatable characters
The Blair Goddess Project - inspired by greek mythology. a goddess is exiled to earth and has to deal with it. Just started, but it’s fun and promises diversity
maybe a few sometimes-forgotten ones which you might have already seen: like The March Family Letters, The Misselthwaite Archives, or In Earnest…
Plus, there are a LOT out there which I haven’t watched yet and/or don’t know about. If there’s a certain classic book or author you like, you can always try a bit of googling to look for things based specifically on them :)
Can you give me a link to Any Other Volg?
yep! here’s the playlist and here’s the official tumblr for the show
also Project Green Gables, which is a new show I forgot to put on the list first time around
ahh also Project Green Gables!! just started, but I love it soo much <3
