Britpop Socrates

Hiya! Back with another animation :) This initially started as a character acting exercise but I also wanted to try my hand at a hybrid 2D-3D workflow. This was my first time working extensively in Blender and hoo boy, was it a trip. I learned a lot of valuable things with this short exercise and I'm aiming to continue implementing 3D into my animation moving forward. Set close-ups and process video coming soon!

Programs used:

- Toonsquid (key animation)

- Toonboom (2D animation)

- Blender (3D set design, lighting, 1st pass compositing)

- After Effects (Final compositing & motion graphics)
