Planets in the 9th House
The ninth house is where we never stop asking why.
Sun in the 9th House: Some of the most ardent travelers are those with ninth-house suns. The world calls to them, and they are driven to experience every part of it as adventures to be had. The more far-off and exotic the place is, the more they are drawn to it. These chart holders feel like they are an important ingredient in the fabric of life. They want to make a difference in the world and so they are not shy about voicing their opinions. Furthermore, they act on these opinions about what the rules of the world should be. From frequent conversations with neighbors to spread their message around their home town, to organized missions in foreign countries where they deliver the message to the masses, ninth-house suns are confident about their messages and make sure they are heard. In their youths, ninth-house suns may join the military to satisfy their need to make a difference in the world, experience different cultures, learn about the world and soak in life on a grand scale. Acting as a foreign exchange student is appealing to these young people as well. As adults they make excellent teachers, internet bloggers, religious leaders, motivational speakers, ambassadors or writers. Any forum where opinions can be expressed and heard feels invigorating to these chart holders. The father of the chart holder may be seen as somewhat detached. The chart holder may have experienced the absence of the father for a period of time or the father may be seen as more committed to his ideals than to his family.
Moon in the 9th House: Comfort is found in exploring new places and ideas with a ninth-house moon. Traveling brings peace to these chart holders and gives them a renewed feeling. It can be frustrating to have a ninth-house moon because it is impractical and expensive to pick up and travel as often as these chart holders would like to. Often, they are left feeling unfulfilled. There is often a yearning to break free from the monotony of every-day life because ninth-house moons know in their hearts that they are missing so much of the world’s adventure and excitement by going through the endless motions of daily life.
Leadership positions in government, law, education or religion can help quell this inner need to break free. In these professions, ninth-house moons can debate opinions, deal with a variety of people and feel that their input has an impact. People are interesting to these chart holders and the more eccentric or foreign the better. The ninth-house moons know that a lot can be learned from listening to the stories people tell and by trading ideas with them. Although ninth-house moons can be firm in their opinions because their opinions feel like such an integral part of what makes them who they are, listening to people with differing opinions always interests them. Ninth-house moons often have mothers who are somewhat detached. The chart holder may see their mother as someone who was always searching for something beyond the family.
Mercury in the 9th House: Although the ninth house is the first universal house, giving it a non-personal nature, ninth-house people can still be highly opinionated albeit usually about universal issues. Furthermore, many ninth-house people are contentious about their opinions. With Mercury in the ninth house, these opinions are made more detached and factual making Mercury in the ninth house a beneficial position.
Venus in the 9th House: Venus in the ninth house lends acceptance to cultures and ideas which differ from the chart holder’s. An appreciation of the beauty found in foreign art, ideas, geography, religion and philosophies is created when Venus falls into the ninth house of the natal chat. Travel to far-away places is desired with this position and the chart holders usually find a way to make these trips possible. This sometimes results in love affairs and marriages with foreigners.
Mars in the 9th House:
A common placement for people who join the military, Mars in the ninth house can fulfill its need to conquer and exert its will by completing military missions in foreign lands. Other chart holders with this position may exert the will of their Mars by spreading their religious or philosophical ideas through publishing or mass media. They are often professors who enjoy teaching what they know to as many people as they can. When Mars in the ninth house doesn’t have an outlet like the military, teaching or publishing, it can get stifled and then suddenly burst at times when it may not be appropriate, and over seemingly trivial matters. Mars in the ninth house needs to express its opinions. So, making sure it has proper outlets for doing so is paramount. Otherwise it becomes argumentative about anything and everything in an artificial and awkward attempt to exert its will in the arena of philosophies and opinions.
Jupiter in the 9th House: At home in its own house, Jupiter in the ninth house creates chart holders who can be overly zealous about expressing their views. Jupiter just can’t help itself when it is in its own house. The planet’s confidence level is high with this position and so the chart holder feels compelled to express their opinions and philosophies. There is an insatiable need to explore the world by traveling or just going on adventures that may not even have a destination. The fun is the trip itself. Learning by experiencing different people and their ways, or joining groups to exchange ideas is common with this position. Religious ideas are often important to ninth-house Jupiters, and although they always enjoy discussing them, they often hold on tightly to their own views. These chart holders are often professors, judges or religious leaders. These professions give them forums to express their views and their interpretations of the rules of society. Publishing their ideas is another avenue for them to express their views.
Saturn in the 9th House: A position common to people whose father had strict or rigid philosophies and ideas about the rules that should be followed in life, Saturn in the ninth house creates a chart holder who is resistant to new or foreign ideas. This is even reflected in a practical way in that the idea of long-distance traveling can be uncomfortable or even frightening because it takes them out of their comfort zone of the known into theunknown. When ninth-house Saturn people do choose to venture into the unknown, they are extremely careful about it. New ideas about government, religion or the meaning of life are never just accepted as the newest things and tried on for size. They are debated or fought against. Following the beliefs that they have determined to be correct is extremely important to them as they are deeply held. Ninth-house Saturns can feel stuck and uninspired because their lives seem pre-determined by their rigid and unmovable beliefs
Uranus in the 9th House: Uranus wants to run free in the ninth house and explore every new thing. These chart holders don’t follow rules or ideas without examining them and, even then, they are never likely to commit to any of them. There are too many new things to experience. Foreign people or cultures are interesting to these chart holders. Exploring different philosophies and religions is fun for them and they truly consider and examine each new idea. However, all of this need for freedom can actually make ninth-house Uranus people rigid in that they don’t tolerate people who aren’t interested in exploring new ideas. People who have steadfast religious or political views are seen as rigid and narrow-minded. These chart holders often feel that they are philosophically superior because they choose not to subscribe to established views. They may call themselves open-minded while forgetting that they are judging those who choose to commit to established ideas. However, when they keep this tendency on a conscious level and don’t allow it to be their focus, ninth-house Uranus people can contribute a great deal to society through teaching and researching where their detached, intellectual style never stops searching for answers.
Neptune in the 9th House: Enigmatic in their ideas and ways of conveying them, chart holders with Neptune in the ninth house don’t want to be pigeonholed into any set ways of thinking or interpreting the world. Neptune here is wide open to varying philosophies and cultures. Chart holders with this position aren’t judgmental about cultures which differ from their own. Rather they are often intrigued and prefer to learn about them through experience and feelings rather than the written word. Caution should be heeded, however, because Neptune can fall into the trap of being the victim and in the ninth house there is a lot of uncharted and unfamiliar territory being explored in which Neptune can unknowingly be duped or used.
Pluto in the 9th House: Passionate about their opinions on the rules the world should follow, those with Pluto in their ninth-house are not easily swayed into new philosophies or ideas about religion or politics. However, as Pluto is the planet of rebirth and renewal, at some point in their lives, these chart holders are likely to have a complete reversal or revamping of their policital, philosophical or religious ideas. Until then, however, they will hold on tightly to their views and will argue vehemently to defend them. Their opinions on how the world should operate can be so deeply held that they appear to operate unconsciously as a part of who they are rather than as ideas which are separate from them and can be debated.

15 things to remember:
1. that thing you did that was kind of embarrassing and weird, everyone else forgot about that already
2. you look fine today, if you can’t notice something on your face standing 6 feet from a mirror then nobody else will either.
3. social lives can go through cycles sometimes, if you feel like your friends are all ignoring you for no reason they’re probably just busy with other things.
4. if you can’t stop thinking about someone or something, read a book, paint your nails or watch a movie. it won’t solve any serious problems but you will feel better.
5. listen with the intent to understand, not the intent to reply.
6. if you want something, go get it.
7. drink lots of water, eat lots of fruit, exercise more, go outside, get enough sleep and think positive thoughts.
8. if you don’t ask, the answer will always be no.
9. throw away the idea of a perfect tomorrow and live in the moment.
10. stop comparing yourself to others.
11. a beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset. It’s a privilege to simply be alive and healthy. Start acting like life is a blessing.
12. act the way you’d like to be and soon you’ll be the way you’d like to act.
13. you will change. You’re not the same person you were three years ago. you’re not even the same person you were three minutes ago and that’s okay. especially if you don’t like the person you were three minutes ago.
14. you don’t have to open the curtains if you don’t want to.
15. being happy is the most important thing.
I can do anything. I can have anything. All that I desire exists within me. I Am.

Why is Saturn a top placement in the sixth house?
its just my personal opinion, it isnt necessarily the end all be all
but saturn is rather comfortable in the 6th bc the 6th house has to do with work. when saturn finds itself in the 6th, the native tends to be a really hard worker and driven!
Hard Aspects Between Saturn and the Moon
Hard aspects between Saturn and an Aries Moon tone down the impetuousness of Aries. They can be beneficial to an Aries Moon because they slow the individual down long enough for him to gain some insight and control over his emotions.
Hard aspects between Saturn and a Taurus Moon reinforce the Taurus Moon’s cautiousness and conservatism, making it even harder for the individual to move forward and accept change. These aspects are mainly disadvantageous but, unless they represent an entrenched pattern of inflexibility, were probably chosen for a reason.
Hard aspects between Saturn and a Gemini Moon are usually helpful because they discipline its fluidity and adaptability and limit its curiosity. These aspects may have been chosen either to balance over-adaptability or to provide a challenge which, when overcome, will result in growth.
Hard aspects between Saturn and a Cancer Moon add to its moodiness, pessimism, and depression. Therefore, these aspects can be quite difficult. However, they may be used to develop strength, aid the life task, or balance a karmic debt or negative pattern from the past.
Hard aspects between Saturn and a Leo Moon may blunt its confidence. The Leo Moon might overcompensate for this insecurity by acting all the more arrogant. Although these individuals feel unsure about expressing themselves, they also feel compelled to, which results in an uncomfortable internal conflict. These aspects may have been chosen to balance a domineering attitude or to temper the exuberance of this Moon sign so that the individual fits more comfortably into non-leadership roles. Or, these aspects may have been chosen to add discipline to the Leo Moon’s creativity or to develop a specific talent.
Hard aspects between Saturn and a Virgo Moon amplify this Moon sign’s tendency toward isolation, moroseness, and feelings of inadequacy. These individuals are challenged to love and accept themselves regardless of imperfections or feelings of alienation. These aspects may have been chosen to accelerate growth. They may cause the individual to turn within and find comfort in virtuous qualities already present or to develop them as a way of increasing his self-esteem or gaining the acceptance desired from others.
Hard aspects between Saturn and a Libra Moon may cause frustration or delays in relationships. These individuals may find their insecurities interfering with their ability to assert themselves toward getting their emotional needs met. The Libra Moon’s need for companionship may be thwarted or blocked by the belief that he is not lovable, which is his greatest fear. These aspects may have been chosen to balance dependency by forcing the individual to be more independent. If that were the case, their purpose would be to build a stronger sense of self. After this is accomplished, a successful partnership is more likely.
Hard aspects between Saturn and a Scorpio Moon add pessimism and a need for control and power. As a result, these individuals have difficulty enjoying life, relaxing, and letting down their defenses. They assume everything is of dire consequence to their position in life. And since position is so important to them, they may manipulate and connive to control situations. On the positive side, these individuals may have keen intellects and reasoning powers, excellent insight into human nature, and an ability to do research or detective work.
Hard aspects between Saturn and a Sagittarius Moon temper the boisterous and sometimes overly exuberant energy of the Sagittarius Moon so that it can operate more practically and realistically. Saturn aspects to this Moon bring discipline, realism, caution, patience, and endurance, all qualities that may be lacking in many Sagittarius Moons.
Hard aspects between Saturn and a Capricorn Moon reinforce its pessimism and seriousness. Like hard aspects between Saturn and a Virgo Moon, they may have been chosen to accelerate growth.
Hard aspects between Saturn and an Aquarius Moon, like these same aspects to a Scorpio Moon, make for an incisive and probing mind. The creativity and inspiration of the Aquarius Moon is disciplined and given some structure by these aspects. They are usually chosen to aid the work or the life task. They add to the already cool and aloof emotional style of the Aquarius Moon, making his energies more available for humanitarian causes or work rather than relationships.
Hard aspects between Saturn and a Pisces Moon are more beneficial than not. They give the diffuse and intangible energy of Pisces some structure, realism, and discipline. Saturn offers the qualities that Pisces most lacks: realism, persistence, discipline, patience, and practicality. These aspects are often chosen to balance negative Piscean tendencies from past lives, while maintaining Piscean gifts.
