people like to bring up things like "all your loved ones would die before you" as a concern re: immortality. But the real danger for me would be that i'd literally never get anything done again. I'd adopt the elvish lifestyle immediately. Not doing anything in a week that could be done in a century. Not getting anything done in a century that can be done in 10 centuries. Spending the next 100 years reading 1 book very slowly because i have infinite time and don't care.

Let me take you on a little trip back to Roman times. A beautiful summers day in the Mediterranean, lying lazily in the shade by the pool, savouring grapes, figs and wine while listening to the soft buzz of bees flying around the wisteria overhead

So, I've spent the last three weeks on this, my most ambitious and detailed painting so far. I had a lot of fun mapping out the composition and drawing every single grape, flower and tree in the background - my laptop not so much. Noted, 180 layers is about the maximum photoshop can take. But we need to find a way around that cause I've tasted blood now

I just finished Don't fall away from me by @phoen1xr0se and I laughed, and cried a lot. It is such a beautiful story, thank you for writing it and sharing it with us 🖤 I've had to translate it to my fiancé: every chapter took longer because I had to understand what I was reading, process the emotions and "read" again to him in italian, but was totally worth it.
