for months this renowned tarot readers (who’s been right way too many times) has been talking about two members coming out as a couple to the public this year. she also mentioned 2 members leaving the band - one to be a soloist, the other to be a producer. while I don’t think the second one will be as drastic as fully leaving the group, doesn’t the soloist one align with some of your readings about taehyung being frustrated that his mixtape isn’t coming out any time soon as he expected?

finally watched episode 15 and yes the timeline is sloppy, yes rin looking that young is still mmph, but we finally got answers to a lot of questions and, contrary to popular belief, I do think the plot has a clear idea of where it’s going, it’s just executed poorly.

Ngl, one of the best things about this “reveal” is the fact that that dumb headcanon of Sesshomaru being “adoptive father” to Rin (and Kohaku sometimes, too) is laid to rest. Darn that one never made sense and clearly wasn’t intended by the creator. Sesshomaru was a big “bro” at MOST, and even then, not really. Just a big dog they followed around who gave them protection. Jaken was obviously Rin’s adoptive almost-dad. And Kohaku had his sister and didn’t need anyone else in a parental role. I guess anglospheric fandom is just kind of full of ppl with family issues if they see “FAMILY ADOPTIVE DAD MOM X IS NOW MY SON!!!1111111111″ in every pieces of fiction 

Maybe it’s just American thing?? Western cultures seem to be pretty lonely as ppl so I guess they have to compensate for that with fiction

I noticed this not long ago when I was going through Instagram and saw many accounts from Latin America rejoicing that Rin was the twins’s mother. I never saw their dynamic as father x daughter growing up and neither did the majority of Latin viewers from the looks of it. It’s definitely an American thing.

And yes, the fandom is plagued with too many people with family issues that don’t know how to differentiate real life from the anime cause tell me why you can go down the yashahime tag and find people telling their harassment and broken family units stories and comparing them to Sesshomaru and Rin.
