i’m xiia, a 17 year old student who lives in uk!

i’m currently doing a-levels and i’m in year 13. i’m doing biology, chemistry and maths. so, i have my final exams in june!

i recently got offers for med school! so i’m also working towards that (:

decided to start this back up again for motivation! i want to do a 68 day challenge, where i have to study for more than 6 hours a day, apart from 1 rest day a week.

2 weeks left till my first mock, which is biology!

I studied for 6 hours today and finally had the motivation to go through a difficult topic that I avoided for a whole year, because I hated it so much!

Also had some noodles, which were supposed to be spicy but weren’t 😾.

Did some chemistry and maths things to, like a mini test once again. It was a productive day!

today was honestly semi productive - i got half the things i wanted to do, done and i procrastinated so much. but at least i got something done, right?

a lot of whiteboard work today, for both bio and chem. i watched a few videos to recap myself on the topics! for maths, i did some exam questions and a mini test on algebraic methods, i feel somewhat confident now!!

surprise surprise… it’s your girl again.. the one that forgets tumblr exists!!!

it’s been a while! i did my UCAT nearly 3 months ago! last time you guys saw me, i was doing a mock HAHA , now im focused on doing well on my semi midterms!

i studied for 4.5 hours today and i did quite a bit, not as much as i wanted to do, especially with maths but progress is progress (:

i finished making and updating my flashcards for bio, i went through a topic in chemistry and i finished an exercise in maths! lowkey gave up later on in the day though HAHA. i also did exercise!!! WOOOOOHH!!

it was my brothers birthday today so we went out to eat! so much yummy food.

Hello my lovely jublies! Today is a splendid day as I have woken up at 6 and as my body decided to do so itself.

Today I have a Spanish lesson, which I am slightly nervous for as I haven’t finished my work yet, but I have 6 hours until, so I can do so after unpacking.

Ok here’s the revised list

hi guys!

today, i got 5/6 of the tasks i need to get done today, done! i did a UCAT mock (thoughts on this later), some biology and chemistry flashcards, made a spreadsheet for mock reflection and did a few maths exercises! a productive day 😉

i’ve never been more humbled than i have been today after that mock. i thought i was doing well, and then i saw the score and i cried. i’ve never scored that low ever, especially in decision making. i was so upset but i had to go on.

study time today: 390 mins (6 hours 30 mins)

update - 2 months later

hi guys! it’s so funny i keep doing updates but i never follow through with another post… but i promise you i will follow through this one! why? because of the bloody ucat! ucat is basically a medicine entrance exam.

originally, i was supposed to do it at the end of july, but i postponed it to the end of august, and now ive postponed it to the 2nd of september.

reasons were because i was abroad, in canada! i know, very fun. but not very productive… oh and i finally turned 17!

so now, i will be aiming to do a mock a day, with exceptions! i also have a ton of summer work, revision and personal statement to get done. it will be a busy 2 weeks till school starts ): , im looking forward to it!

hopefully i learn something new, academically or mentally. it’s going to be a tough few days, but im ready. maybe i can share my mental health with you guys as well, showing the realistic side of school, not only the romanticised!

9/06 - a relaxing day~

Today has been a food-filled day. For lunch, I had a classic English Breakfast, how ironic 😭!

I did some UCAT practice today using Medify and I also did some maths homework which I did not understand AT ALL. It was so hard, it made me want to sob LOL.

Looked through some unis and made a shortlist of ones i’m interested in applying to! I received my report on friday and I got predicted A*AA so I will be applying to unis with these grades!

Overall a chill day, see you tomorrow ❤️
