Polytheist > one who believes in 2 or more deities Monotheist > one who believes in 1 deity Atheist > one who does not believe in any deities / believes in 0 deities The big bang theory, the formation of stars and planets, and evolution are all known natural processes supported by peer-reviewed scientific study. If you think they are wrong then write a paper and collect your Nobel prize. Of course there are some things we do not know, but that doesn't mean we have to lower ourselves to the level of making up characters and stories to explain them, and pretend we know the answer. This is a childish, caveman mentality and the most basic form of superstition.
