Ah yes, when Metag was about to BE LEFT ON AN ISLAND PRACTICALLY BY THEMSELF why would PAPER be the one to want to save them from that fate? Why would PAPER, FIRST ELIMINATED CONTESTANT OF II want to prevent someone from being trapped on an island BY THEMSELF. The great mysteries of the world.

Like, yeah, objectively torture for him, but we all know what sympathy is, right? Am I the only one who’s noticed paper is literally saving Metag from suffering his exact fate? He’s breaking the cycle of abuse. When fan, the current host, wants to leave someone on an island alone, paper steps up with a compromise that saves as many people as possible while keeping Metag from suffering. He may as well be sacrificing his life, but that’s the point. He’s willing to possibly die to save someone from the level of suffering he had to endure. He’s being the person he wished he had. He can’t go back in time to save himself, but he can still save Metag.

Paper staying behind makes perfect sense, both in character and in terms of this seasons themes of growing beyond the show.

I both love and hate the idea of Paper being Transmasc. Like I think it goes well with his character and bro is literally the trans flag but also it feels like almost every time a male character has a high pitched voice they're headcanoned as trans and I don't like normalizing that.

Like it can still be cute and there's sometimes where I adore it but other times where I think it just.. doesn't fit. I'd rather bigender or genderfluid Paper tbh. This is coming from someone under the trans umbrella btw.

Btw OP, Paper can be both transmasc and bigender or genderfluid!! Transmasc is an umbrella term for trans people who identify with masculinity, which includes trans men but many other identities fit under this term,, including bigender and genderfluid :DD

oh my gosh I’m actually so devastated right now, my switch’s microSD card might’ve just failed on me and I might lose all my pokemon game data. This genuinely feels heartbreaking I don’t care if that sounds silly pokemon is one of my longest-lasting special interests and those games helped me through some really hard times. I don’t know what to do about it tbh, not home at the moment but when I get back I’ll try to recover it with the computer but there’s a low chance that’ll work. Ughhhh I spent so much time on those games, especially Sword and all that progress might be gone :(( I know I’ll still have the game cards and I can play them again but I really want to keep my original save files I feel so attached to them. I’m so sad.

I love having hyperfixations and SpIns (special interests) because genuinely the joy I feel from seeing things related to them is the best feeling ever. Like I feel so joyous and happy when I see, for example, a drawing of a character I like, like I want to, and have before, cry tears of joy over it. I just think it’s such an amazing feeling and I’m glad I’m able to experience it, I don’t know if people who don’t get hyperfixations and SpIns can get that feeling as well, but I’m so happy that I do

It’s not always great though, of course. Because what do you mean instead of sleeping I replayed and beat pokemon sword for the 7th time? What do you mean I just forgot to eat and drink for hours on end because of hyperfocusing on this painting? What do you mean I can’t focus in class because I can only think about Alex Mason from COD Black Ops? I feel happy, but I also keep neglecting myself
