001.ㅤHi,  I'm  Mari.  Anxious  potato,  cat  lover,  and  martial  arts  nerd.  I'm  over  21,  I  use  she/her,  and  I'm  in  the  US  Central  Time  Zone.  This  blog  is  private  and  will  only  interact  with  mutuals.  I  have  poor  mental  health  and  live  with  an  Anxiety  Disorder,  Major  Depressive  Disorder,  OCD,  ADHD,  Dyslexia,  just  a  whole  cocktail  of  things  that  can  make  me  have  super  low  energy  a  lot.  I  also  run  other  blogs  that  typically  have  a  higher  priority  than  this  one,  and  I'll  mostly  be  around  on  Felicia  when  I  feel  inspired.  I  started  writing  her  on  tumblr  back  in  2019,  made  her  first  solo  blog  in  2021,  and  now  I'm  remaking  her  again  because  she's  just  one  of  those  muses  that  never  really  leaves  my  brain.

002.ㅤMy  portrayal  largely  pulls  from  the  original TASM  & The  Spectacular  Spider-Manruns,  Felicia's  solo  runs  (particularly  the  2019  Jed  Mackay  run),  various  other  appearances,  and  most  of  all  my  own  headcanons.  Certain  things  from  canon  will  be  disregarded  completely.  Felicia  has  been  a  victim  of  character  assassination  too  many  times.  Specific  runs  that  I  ignore  because  they're  fucking  awful  to  Felicia  are The  Evil  that  Men  Do(anything  that  Kevin  Smith  touched  in  general), Superior  Spider-Man,  and  anything  involving  that  "Queenpin"  Felicia  arc,  I'm  not  touching  that  shit  with  a  ten  foot  pole.

004.ㅤNo  drama,  hate,  [insert]phobia,  zionism,  antisemitism,  TERFism,  whitewashing,  racism,  M*GA/Tr*mpie  bullshit,  or  any  bigotry  in  general.  If  you  cannot  handle  your  personal  problems  with  someone  like  an  adult,  I  do  not  want  you  near  me.  If  you  have  a  problem  with  someone,  that  is  not  something  that  needs  to  be  handled  on  anon;  if  you  have  to  hide  behind  anonymity  to  air  grievances,  you  are  not  emotionally  mature  and  I  do  not  want  to  interact  with  you.  I  do  not  care  about  callouts  unless  they  are  about  genuinely  harmful  behavior.  Tumblr  these  days  is  inundated  with  stupid,  superfluous  callouts  over  personal  slights  abusing  public  good-will  and  I'm  perfectly  capable  of  making  my  own  judgements  about  what  I  see.  There  is  a  difference  between  exposing  harmful  individuals  and  trying  to  ruin  someone  out  of  spite  for  your  personal  falling  out,  and  if  you  do  the  latter,  hard  fucking  block.  Any  anon  hate  or  unsolicited  "criticism"  not  given  in  good  faith  will  be  promptly  laughed  at  and  deleted.  I'm  too  old  and  tired  for  high  school  behavior,  go  touch  grass.

005.ㅤLmk  if  I  need  to  adjust  my  formatting  when  writing  with  you.  I  try  not  to  over-format,  and  your  accessibility  will  always  come  first.  Personally,  I  don't  mind  how  my  partners  format,  except  I  ask  that  replies  are  not  done  entirely  /  largely  in  all  caps.  Some  lines  in  caps  are  fine,  but  not  entire  paragraphs  or  large  blocks  of  text.  I  am  dyslexic  and  have  ADHD  and  reading  a  big  section  of  all  caps  text  is  extremely  difficult  for  me.

I feel like a key ingredient that has been lost in Fe's comic characterization 99% of the time since CW1 is that she is sooooo pathetic when it comes to love; she is not nonchalant, she is perpetually down bad. So many people try to write her as this idgaf, independent, "sexually liberated" (whole other conversation to have there about the misapplication of that concept bc yes she IS sexually liberated but not in the weird sex-doll way modern m*rvel loves to write her) girlboss who loves being on her own but that's just not her. I'm afraid she is and always will be a lovergirl at heart and that's why she has so many hang-ups in both romance and friendships. The loneliness is the point. The adrenaline chasing is the band-aid she slaps on top of it. The fear of abandonment is what keeps her from doing something *real* to heal it and commit to the kind of relationships she wants to have with people but believes she cannot have because either she will ruin it or she will be left again.
