Tonight my players fought their way through a Warforged colossus, destroying its three power cores to shut it off before the evil order of artificers piloting it could use it to unearth a demon who’s singular purpose is to infect and assimilate all technology into itself.

And then they fought my worlds Baba Yaga’s chicken hut in said Warforged colossus like they were a 6 man jaeger team in pacific rim because as it turns out she was the one behind all of it.

It was the stupidest, silliest, wackiest most insanely over the top session ive run in years. It was also one of the best sessions ive run in a long time.

We laughed ourselves to tears more than a few times. Everyone got to do something incredibly epic. The rogue took the helm and uprooted pine trees to use as giant daggers, the Paladin channeled smite through a howitzer, the sorceror turned a disintegrate spell into the death star beam, the artificer fused himself into the body of the mech to briefly become a living power source, and the monks used their ki to fire rocket fists.

It was stupid. It was the best time.

Dungeons and Dragons is so much better when you just have fun with it. Fun is the point. Chase that always.

just because someone is your favorite character doesnt mean theyd have the same moral alignment as you. wheatley from portal wouldnt say "my pronouns are he/him, thank you for asking!" hed say "what uhh. what does that mean. um. you mean the nouns im most "pro" at is that what youre saying? i like to think im pretty pro,, at all nouns really. umm lets see... apple, kazoo, bubble, happy, door, umm... cake. not too fond of cake really i think its alright but. not my Favorite. if it were up to me though id eat a whole cake in one sitting. if i were a human. not a human, clearly. also not sure if id, know what cake even tastes like. if i tried it. no tastebuds. no Mouth... no. hole. anywhere on my body. haha um,, well anyways id. id say im pretty Pro Nouns. dont see why anyone wouldnt be... what? you mean what i Go By? what do you. ohhhh. ummm. the male ones. the male pronouns. if i can remember what they are... definitely the ones for guys. manly men. like me. pretty sure im a man,,," and you need to accept this

Jupiter orbit screen in the artstyle of "The Discarded Instrument," my Destiny 1 piano album. I have so many assets I made for that album, so it's really fun to start modifying some of them to make some new art, for the sake of art.

I started with just the Jupiter planet and space. I wanted to do a ship, so I decided to challenge myself to draw it! I've never done something this complex, as I mostly design 2D images and occasionally vector art. The ship is also purely a vector drawn in Illustrator, painted over top of an in-game screenshot. It was really challenging but fun to translate it to purely shapes and assemble this way.

I'm really happy with how it came out, even if I think someone else could've done it way better. I'm improving and that just makes me happy.

Sorry I haven't been active here. I do mostly Destiny music and not visual art, and I'm not sure how big of a scene there is here for fan music. In any case, I thought someone here might enjoy this.
