Any time he's around the SMG4 crew, they have to make Puzzles bend to fit in frame because hes so tall, and that's just constantly hilarious. He's so very tall, very proud of his stature and appearance, and he's always having to either kneel, or literally lie on the floor in leggy's case, just to speak to these people within the frame of the camera he's probably constantly aware of.

Probably could have chosen taller people to terrorize, and he wouldn't have to deal with that, but no he's chosen to mildly inconvenience himself this way.

Like this is just objectively funny. He's always doing this or leaning really close.

Like he doesn't even flinch at contorting his body in insanely uncomfortable position, and probably has joints of rubber.

Aro &/ Ace identities have been sidelined and ignored for so much of queer history, especially in media, but the way I've seen the topic flourish this June 2026 made me honestly giddy.

In my many years observing fandom culture, I have to say this is the first time I've seen this level of Aro &/ Ace inclusion, and it reads like a sense of hope.

Somthing that shows the value of progress and our expansion as a stronger community. And at a time where so much of this world is working against us in so many different ways, this suprise 'love' for Aro &/ Ace spec representation in fandom is really valueble.

Pride is our month, but remember everyone, we're staying prideful all godamn year!

this isnt a special au or anything, its similar to other aus that do the same thing . yk daniel redemption vibes . but we arent there yet 🫶 hes still an asshole and i hate him (/aff), but he's past his homicidal tendencies (for the most part). his options were either prison + mental hospital, or community service + therapy [obv with weekly check ins and evaluations]. we all know what he chose and why he really regrets that decision. 🥰

To emphasize a shift / action / thought.

To add drama.

They dismissed our skills as AI—didn't even think twice, the dimwits—and believed they were onto something.

To insert a sudden thought. Surely they wouldn't do that to us—would they?

To interrupt someone's speech. "Hey, please don't say that. I honed my craft through years of blood and tears—" "Shut up, prompter."

To interrupt someone's thoughts / insert a sudden event.

I just had an epiphany! God, wait, remember how the entire religious drama with Caine is about killing his brother, but also more specifically committing the first ever murder - and witnessing the first ever death, accidentally at that.

AND if we see abstraction as death, (be it 'suicide' when endured internally) then it places Caine as almost 'discovering' death in the digital circus when he caused the first one...accidentally.

The main issue I have with so much of the “oh poor Vox, Alastor’s brutal rejection, worst they can say is no” discourse is the automatic blame on the rejector and pity for the one being rejected, completley pinning the fault on one's innate asexuality and/or aromanticism. When in reality this sort of friendship breakup hurts for both sides. Because yeah, I'd (aro & ace) be pissed too if I realized a friend (to whatever vague capacity Alastor and Vox were) was into me. Like fuck, FUCK, dammit.

Because now I can’t exactly hang out and feel normal around them, because they're fucking attracted to me. Like shit, I'm letting them down, and leading them on by just existing around them, AND feeling so uncomfortable and violated at being perceived/ wanted as a prospect.

I assure you it’s not fun. And oh, do not worry, alastor is a fucking prick too. He is an absolute heathen to niceties and general politeness regarding how to reject, bro was absolutely intending to hurt Vox as much as possible (kinda feels like revenge for the 'betrayal' of the “we’re only friends” trust though) so yes, 100% Alastor is fucking rude... But this has got to be his lightest of crimes.

Because like, come on. He’s a demon. In Hell. It’s kinda their thing.

hmm I'm personally not too much about dadvid either, somtimes I like it but other times...

A slight reason is that I’m desi (ethnic group from Northern India and Pakistan generally), and I have a close connection to what I think Max was kind of stereotyped to be in terms of his racial representation, which appears to be Northern Indian. So the vibes of a very white, European looking (sometimes culturally ignorant) guy 'saving' him from his cultural space gives me a tiny bit of ick. This is not to say it’s not justified to get Max into a better situation, or that David would be a bad dad, just that there’s an underlying narrative that I sometimes (only sometimes, usually in older fanworks) see shoved into their dynamic that I find problematic. Also, when trying to figure out wtf is happening in Max’s home life, it may help to identify what the actual problem is. Clearly his parents are neglectful, but it’s also important to consider that Desi culture does commonly operate on joint family systems (which can aid {help fix} or/and add {further hurt} to this issue of neglect, in my experience), so his parents could also be operating within a structure that communally raises a kid, which adds complexity to his family situation. (Which I intend to explore eventually [a hundred years] in my fic XD)

And completely forgoing any contextual Eurocentrism concerns I might have, David, as much as I adore him (he’s perfect, except for all the ways he’s not), I think is very much not adequate to fully take care of a whole kid yet. Plus, Max does show signs of trauma (my baby, I love him, he deserves the world) and is already a bit much to actually manage (which the counselors, lovingly, don’t actually do in the show), so I’m just a bit concerned about the amount of stress both parties might endure in an actual parent/child dynamic. I do think David’s incredibly caring and lovely, but his vibes read more as babysitter or older brother.

Though I won’t lie, I have read beautiful Dadvid works that stick with me for years, though at the slight expense of making David a teeny bit more responsible and coherent than the disaster we are given in canon. (Though I do love him either way still.)
