My university had a bunch of tours and a sporting event going on today and it made me remember something

So, I’ve been taking metalsmithing/jewelry making classes for 3 years now and one time, on a like. alumni day. I was working in the studio, and my station was right next to this window into the hallway. People are walking by, looking in, y’know. And then this one family comes Into The Studio and the dad(?) starts talking about how he took a class in there when he was a student.

I am sitting there, Painstakingly painting old ass, goopy as hell nail polish onto a piece of sheet metal, sweating my ass off because the studios are always either sweltering or freezing, there was some acid hanging out in the front of the room, and I’m pretty sure there was a whole ass Pancake Griddle also sitting out by me.

I mostly remember just desperately hoping that none of them would ask me any questions, or to explain What the Fuck I was doing
