I kind of deleted my previous self intros and I can't be bothered to make it look cool so here's a small one!!

Hi, I am Atseptic but call me Atsy for short (or Maddie cuz that's also my name but that's less common. or laddie. or baddie. or mad e. whatever works) My pronouns are they/she and I am an autistic teenager who is only really on Tumblr for fun with no intent on going viral at all (lol I hate the idea of being famous.) My blog at the moment is a huge clusterfuck of things.

I used to be a Deltarune central blog but I realised that I wanted to post about more than just manly one topic, so I decided to branch out and turn into an "anything I want to talk about" blog after a couple of weeks on posting hiatus 😝. alright @hellonearthtoday and @/atseptic, you convinced me haha. Here's a short preview and discussion on my "actual reasoning as to why the Solarballs crew values Life so much" AU (it probably needs a better name).

It's a little hard to explain, but it started with the concept that the celestials couldn't take human forms until the humans came along. Taking that idea to the extreme, celestials existed as primordial beings but hardly had the capability for anything (no emotions, no senses, hardly any thoughts) until Life started advancing and gaining those capabilities on Earth's surface. The fic is basically Earth very slowly gaining sentience alongside his Life and learning to experience the universe around him - then sharing that evolution with the rest of the solar system!

I'll probably share more snippets as I write (much to my chagrin, writing a fic that's very research-intensive when you're very busy is slow), but here's a clip from the beginning!

Solarballs musing: Neptune and Venus/Mars parallels?

Neptune is probably the one that understands how Mars and Venus feel about Theia-Proto and Earth-Luna the best.

Why? Triton.

The same thing that made him lose his original moons he already cared for, gave him his current moons he adores. And it was his gravity that caused it.

That would have made him feel the same kind of guilt as the rocky duo: It hurt, but wishing it never happened would be like wishing they didn't have some of the most important people they have now.

There are nuances, like how Neptune didn't use his gravity on Triton intentionally, his original moons weren't sentient yet and Triton would still exist if they didn't cross paths, he just wouldn't be Neptune's moon, but you get what I'm getting at.

Neptune would have been able to help them process it, which would have been especially good for Venus; but, given the distance and Neptune's mental state, that never happened 🥲
