On good terms with everyone he knows but has few close friends
Has a rocky relationship with his dad, due to him being somewhat cold and removed as a result of what he did to Krueger
Despite how anxious and soft-spoken he is, he can have a short temper when upset and act out when he’s angry
Can tend towards reckless, but has good intentions
A lot of his anxiety and frustration comes from the fact that he doesn’t have an outlet for or fully understand his repressed trauma, and struggles heavily with it as a result

He’s only ever seen without his cross necklace when swimming
In the scene where he and Nancy are told what Freddy did to them as children, he’s holding his cross like a lifeline
Gives Nancy his cross before she goes to face Freddy in the hope that it will protect her
A deleted scene which focused on him confronting Freddy was set in a church, and at some point involved him kneeling and praying
