Gotcha'
they are my current roman empire.
the notion of andrew slowly learning that being physically affectionate is okay and not a show of weakness is great. can i propose: for a while there the only sort of hug he can manage is hugging Neil from behind. partially bc it means he can touch Neil while Neil can’t do more than hold onto his forearms, but also so he doesn’t have to look him in the eye for it. he can just bury his head in Neil’s back calming himself down and rationalizing this is normal and nobody is gonna judge him or take advantage of his very clearly, very soft spot.
this is also huge for Neil’s growth too, he is literally giving his back to Andrew, that’s subtle trust but trust nonetheless. and it slowly also desensitizes Neil to people sneaking up to him from behind
Headcanon that Kevin and Jean are forbidden from sitting together on family dinners because they accidentally re-enter the raven hivemind and just eat at the same time (like the ravens in the banquet kind of vibe). It's creepy as fuck. They both hate it.
To prevent this from happening, they normally put Jeremy between them and that seems to be enough. One time, though, Neil got stuck between the two. When the three of them took a bite at the same time, everyone stopped to stare in disgust. Neil had done it on propose as a joke but managed to creep himself out too when the three responded with "what?" at the same time. They no longer sit together. No one said they are not allowed to. It's just better for everyone that way.
Do u guys think about how andrew probably calls neil "captain" in his third year and how it must drive neil absolutely feral all the time or is that just me
every now and then i see fan art that makes me go “oh my god andreil are babiesssss” and then i remember that they are lmao
jean moreau and andrew minyard too fucking similar for their own well-being. sexual trauma. refusing to verbalize their adoration for neil. thinking renee is the greatest human being to ever walk the earth. begrudgingly seeing wymack as a father figure. one sided semi-homoerotic situationship with kevin. they literally share a therapist. i could go on.
Did someone say angsty sexual tension?
New goal - draw a Neil so c*nty he ends up in all of the TikTok edits . Feel like this one got pretty close😈😘
Always thinking about Andreil kissing 🥰🧡
“whats your favorite tro-“ the exception.
Neil is the only one who can touch Andrew. Andrew is the only person Neil calls for help. Neil is the only person that can calm Andrew down from rage. Andrew is the only person that can calm Neil down from a panic attack. Neil is the only one that can tell which twin is which. Andrew is the one person that has offered safety. Neil is the only one that can tell what Andrew is thinking. Andrew is the only person that has told him to stay. Neil is the only one that realized Andrew wasn’t medicated without being told. Andrew is the only person Neil is honest with. Neil is the only one that respects Andrew’s boundaries.
the exception.
my aftg brainrot is coming back strong
Nicky: If you're going to play dealer who do we have in goal second half?
Wymack: *looks at Andrew*
Andrew:
love the fact the deal that SAVES NEILS LIFE is basically Ichirou going “give me 80% of your income for life” and Neil is thinking dude I used to live off ten cents a week, i don’t give a fuuuuck keep all my money just let me makeout w my boyfriend
Andreil headcanon i thought about in the shower and can’t get out of my head
So Neil is mentioned to read the news and shit like that in other languages to keep practicing so he doesn’t forget it. And we know he is also a) an overthinking anxious freak and b)a trust issues ridden weirdo
i think sometimes Neil needs to ramble and talk to himself to work through his thoughts or emotions but that’s vulnerable and he doesn’t wanna be overheard by just anyone, so he goes on these long rants in foreign languages to get it all out while also knowing nobody can understand him and keep practicing his languages
and it becomes this quirk or habit thay he can’t kick, so he just will randomly speak to himself in spanish or french or german like “y las llaves?” (“where did i leave the keys?”)
and Andrew picks up on this, he doesn’t realize what Neil is doing until Neil happens to do it in German and Andrew gets it. and he wasnt gonna ask Neil about it but it just. keeps. happening. so he caves in and during one of their Honesty Thing™️ games he asks. And Neil says he just does it to maintain the language. and that’s that. except it’s not.
Andrew slowly starts to learn Spanish and French from this, because hey eidetic memory right? so maybe he google translates a thing or two but for the most part, it just sorta happens. he always ignored Kevin when he rambles in french but now he starts listening and filing away verb tenses and vocab.
Andrew starts to understand more and more and now he knows exactly what Neil is rambling about which helps Andrew know what Neil needs. And Neil keeps being shocked at how well Andrew must know him because he always does or says the right thing to help him feel better.
and one day Neil is studying for some spanish exam and Andrew wants to just go to bed and Neil refuses to leave the desk so Andrew just switches to spanish and goes “Sí vamos a la cama te hablo en español para que practiques” (if we go to bed I’ll speak spanish so you can practice”)
and Neil has this ???wtf since when do you speak spanish??? moment and Andrew just shrugs it off and kisses him. and the next morning when Neil is not being deeply distracted by Andrew he teases Andrew asking if he learned for him. And Andrew, who never lies but does tweak the truth like a motherfucker, says no. because technically he didn’t right? memorizing is different.
it happens again later down the week when Neil is having a very passionate argument with Kevin in french about the last game they lost and how you had to pass it to me or whatever and Andrew that has been trying to watch TV just snaps at them both screaming in french “ça suffit!” (“that’s enough!”) and Neil and Kevin just stare at each other for a few minutes while Andrew goes back to his TV show like nothing happened.
