Dabi is literally abandonment issues personified, he literally cannot STAND when you look at someone who isn't him. he was so used to being ignored, so he cannot take it when you seemingly ignore him. he begs for your attention like a neglected puppy.

this man BEGS and WHINES until you look at him again. he does NOT care if other people are looking because they could matter less to him.

he literally made his father's attention his main obsession when he was a kid, what makes you think he wouldn't do the same for when he has a partner? he's so inexperienced about having a mutual loving relationship that he CLINGS to it for dear life.

I feel like Dabi has great potential to be a pathetic boyloser when you consider his actual personality when he's not putting up his nonchalant persona

he's obsessive, dramatic, and attention seeking. He would YEARN for your attention and validation like it's a fine drung because it quite literally is to him. if he is derived of your attention for too long he'd probably go into withdrawals

also this man is touched starved BEYOND belief, like you would be surprised how much he tries to cling to you when you two are together. he doesn't even care if other people are around it's like he just NEEDS to have skin on skin contact with you

this man is a whole generations worth of bottled up suppression and need for validation and it's practically begging to be cracked open
