Yes, today is my birthday! Every few years, my birthday lands on Thanksgiving. I'm officially 24 today :)

In my previous post, I talked about how Cherry's existence is highly... controversial, to other Bees.

Well... Here is one example of those who disagree with his existence.

This is Marrow. He is one of the leading assassins in a cultist colony, dubbed "The Nightshade Colony".

The Nightshades are said to be direct descendants of Bellora's warrior bees, who swore to keep her vow and kill off any royal bees that may potentially surface in newer generations.

Marrow has been waiting many years for an opportunity to assassinate King Cherry. Though, his plans have often been thwarted, either by sheer luck on Cherry's part, or just an inconvenient placement of plans.

To this day, he wears the hatred for Cherry proudly on his sleeve, and will stop at nothing to have his head.

Queen Bellora

Referred to many bees as "The Last Queen".

Hundreds of years ago, Hexasprites (the bees) were at war against their own Queens. This war was waged by Bellora herself, who, despite being a Queen herself, could no longer stand the mistreatment and the strict laws forced upon the Worker bees, as if they were nothing but mere pawns to use and discard.

Her hatred for her own caste led to a mass genocide of all Royal bees. And legend has it that, as a final act of devotion to her belief, she took her own life amidst her subjects, promising that they will no longer be under the control of any Queen, and that they get to live free for all eternity.

...Of course, this promise would only last a few hundred years, until the mysterious birth of Cherry. Whose existence, despite controversial to modern-day bees, is still highly protected.

I thought I'd go over some other bees in correlation with Cherry.

This is Rowan. He's Cherry's royal advisor. Helps him keep track of things, is the first to let him in on any important information regarding the colony, and is also sort of an assistant when it comes to supervising other workers and tasks around the colony.

Cherry regards him as a very close friend and praises him for his reliability and kindness.

This is Peppermint.

Peppermint is Cherry's non-biological sister, or "Hatch-Mate" if you will. She and Cherry have been nearly inseparable since the day they were removed from their wax cells, and have always been there to support each other. Especially whenever Cherry had been bullied for his strange qualities.

Peppermint currently runs a circus, in which Cherry sponsors her to support her business.

This is Lemon.

Lemon is another one of Cherry's exes. They got together initially, after Cherry helped him transition into a male drone bee using his magic.

They had a good relationship, up until Cherry was officiated King, and then things slowly went downhill. Lemon started viewing Cherry as less of a partner, and more of a boss, which conflicted with his affections for him. And thus, eventually, they broke things off.

They're on better terms nowadays, as Lemon serves as one of his best supervisors. But Lemon keeps their interactions strictly professional.

This is Ripley, she's a centipede.

She was originally part of a Wildsea campaign, but since our group disbanded, it's been kinda discontinued. So, I've decided to add her into my own little worldbuilding project instead, as I really like her and don't wanna let her go quite yet.

She's a pirate captain who's on a revenge quest to find her ex husband, aka the man who sold their kids off to a slave trade and then tried to kill her.

This is that guy:

Wasp guyyy This is Hawk, Cherry's ex fiance.

Wasps are pretty rare in this world, and thus, not a lot of bees recognize them as a threat right away. Unfortunately for Cherry, Hawk was able to trick him into believing that he was a "Royal Drone" bee, in need of a "Queen".

Of course, he just wanted to feed off of his colony's hard-earned honey and reap any spoils out of Cherry that he could.

When Cherry eventually discovered the truth about Hawk, he broke up with him and banished him from the colony.

Though, some rumors say he still went back to him a couple times just out of sheer temptation.

More OC dumping because I just have way too many~

This is Corven. He's a living plague. Quite literally.

Corven is part of a race known as Contagionoids; essentially, a sentient race of viruses that have become multicellular humanoids, whose only purpose is to feed, reproduce, and persist.

Due to their macro-evolution, they need bigger bodies to sustain themselves. Thus, most Contagionids thrive inside the bodies of Leviathans, where they can thrive happily for hundreds of years. Gradually causing the Leviathans to weaken with disease, until they collapse. By which, the Contagionoids must migrate to find a new body to infest.

Corven here, however, has different ideas... And wants to try and come up with a way for his species to thrive upon the land, coexisting (and perhaps feeding) off of humans and animals, as their primitive ancestors originally did.

He has since been posing as a doctor, in order to continue his devious experiments.

And all the while, he has a beautiful wife named Porcelain, and him and their 14 germ children are very happy and very contagious.

This is Jackie. She's a fruit bat. Based off one of my Roblox avi's.

She's kind of like a "Spirit of Halloween" type character. An immortal ghostly entity that represents autumn, death, spooky stuff like that.

She has the ability to orchestrate ghosts and control them using ectoplasm.

Also... She can boogie.

Thought I'd give another little OC tour so here's a bunch of randos.

This is BB, short for Bloodbelly. She's an orca whale, formerly in the military, now she's a retired merc who delivers packages around her harbor.

After losing her former children, she had adopted a human son named Ferdinand, who was found abandoned on the beach:

Ferdinand's an adventurous guy, who has a knack for building and repairing ships. He built his own ship, called The Nautilus, which was crafted from a colossal Nautilus shell (gifted to him by his mom, BB).

Ferdinand's dream is to set sail on the open waters, and hopefully get a chance to explore the world, perhaps even find his place of birth and maybe even meet his real parents.

And finally, we have the barnacle that lives with them...

Gizzard:

Gizzard's an old filthy bird man who was essentially adopted into BB and Ferdinand's life, seemingly for no reason, apart from the fact that Ferdinand couldn't help but offer him hospitality.

He's a bum who lazes around, drinking his days away and being a mild inconvenience on the worst of days. But, Ferdinand takes a liking to him due to his vast wisdom and tales of sailing out on the open oceans. He hopes that Gizzard will one day be able to help him aboard his own ship.
