You were worried? Oh man,seems like all of the Pierce siblings were worried about me. I’ve been sleeping all day trying to recover from all the sleep I missed while I was in Vegas.

That’s alright but I hope you didn’t entirely work yourself to exhaustion. I’m glad you had a good birthday celebration. It’s nice to celebrate birthdays, I think. I mean, the meaning behind your age simply states how long you’ve been here and that’s something to be excited about. I’ve not done much but I did get a new pair of glasses which is good.
No I didn’t actually, I took a break for once and went to Vegas. I guess I could be excited, but there’s not much to look forward to since I’ve passed all the “big” ages. Nice Darcy! Do you like them? Why’d you have to get new glasses?

Is that so? I don’t know, it just feels like I don’t really have much to look forward to, like 18 was *adult* and then 21 was *adultier adult except I now can by booze and gamble everywhere* and now 23 is just like.....meh.

Where do you work?
It’s no problem.
During the weekdays, I work at a high school as a paraeducator. On the weekends, I work in a music store. So it’s off to the latter, I go.

Well how old are you? I went to Vegas for a couple of days with some classmates, and then on my actual birthday yesterday, we came back and went to the bar, and did some dude stuff. It was pretty fun.

23 is not old, it’s the ultimate age. As a 23 year old, you’ve successfully passed the first steps of being 21, and being told “hope you didn’t party too hard haha” by your aging relatives who think they’re funny. You’ve also passed the age where you can’t say your age without feeling like a walking Taylor Swift song. 23 is technically the first year of properrespected adulthood, also, I don’t want to be old already so please say 23 is the new 16.
Feels old to me, you know, as opposed to being like young and....well 18. Although you do have a point about proper adulthood. You’re only as old as you feel.
