idk what i'm doing in game, i am trying to do too many things at once. used to run WvW with WvW guild until ~life~ happened and now i'm washed. transferred to metas, achievement hunting, and raiding instead. i avoid fractals for some reason.

[OC] Solaris Bruteflash

Charr, Blood Legion Male (he/him), bisexual 120 of Phoenix, 1302 (36, VoE) Necromancer, harbinger

After Solaris' graduation from the fahrar, he was accepted into Blood Legion's Flash warband, the intended successor to the infamous Slit 'band whom were known for their vicious campaigns against the human crown. Being a late recruit, most members stayed away from him and his obscure background, but Nerküi, Legionnaire Flashglass' brother, had an insatiable curiosity.

Over time, the two eventually became lovers and supported each other through Solaris' identity crisis and Nerküi's Mists-induced breakdowns. He's the only one to know of Solaris' split loyalties, though some 'band members are suspect. However, Nerküi knows that despite his sardonic and flippant demeanor, Solaris is deeply loyal to those he gives his heart to. Especially one little Ash cub....

Sol is blasé, jaded and worn from battle and the intelligence warfare, yet secretly sentimental. He doesn't have good coping mechanisms, either doing target practice on miscellaneous debris or feeding insects to prisoners. He's an underhanded, backstabbing bastard to his enemies and a callous, shutdown with his 'bandmates. However, it doesn't stop his warband from calling him all matter of Broodflash, Rudeflash, etc., before he snarls at them to stop.

Happy October, everyone! Are you ready to get spoooOooOky? This Saturday is the first Saturday of the month, which means it's time for another art part hosted by my guild, [VS] Verdant Shield - and this time we're taking it a smidge out of bounds into the heart of Ascalon's spookiest locale in honor of the season! 👻

For those not familiar, art parties are a concept carried over from Final Fantasy XIV: in-game get-togethers for artists of all kinds to hang out, chat, and create together! For GW2 parties there’s more of an emphasis on hanging out and gathering references during the party itself, and then in the days/weeks following to work on your creations at your own pace and then post to the shared art party tag. We’ve used the same one (#VSArtParty) since the very beginning so you can go allll the way back and explore what people have made! The most important thing to keep in mind though is this: the ‘goal’ of an art party isn’t to be drawn, but to draw others, and share with the community!

Time and /squadjoin information is below the cut, but will also be posted again on the day of the party as squads go up!

Location Information:

I've certainly thought about it before but I don't think we've ever had a party location out of bounds until now? This one is extremely easy to access, you simply need to hop the barrier via whatever means you have access to (mounts, gliding, TP to friend if you're really strapped for options) and then you're there! Closest waypoint is of course Ascalon City Waypoint, though getting there from any waypoint in Ashford is pretty straightforward.

Time & Squad Details:

The EU server party will begin at 9pm Central European Summer Time (aka 3pm Eastern Daylight Time or 5 hours before in-game reset). I’ll be hosting this one on my EU alt account, so please either /whisper or /squadjoin Ashelin Falstaff for a taxi invite if you don’t end up on the right map! If for whatever reason my own work schedule conflicts with this, I'll be sure to update this post and add a reblog with the updated host!

The NA server party will begin 1 hour after the EU party’s official end, at 7pm Eastern Daylight Time (aka 1am Central European Summer Time or 1 hour before in-game reset). I’ll be on my main account for this one, so please /whisper or /squadjoin Shrouded Horror for a taxi invite if you don’t see my customary white cat tag hanging around on your map!

Had some yearly Work Stuff to sort out throughout the week which led to this being delayed, so sorry for cutting it kind of close here! There's lots of exciting things to be inspired by for this month's party, so if you'd like to bring a spooky character for Halloween, some kind of character that fits the setting (charr/Ascalonian/ghost?), or something to fit in with Visions of Eternity (asuraaaa???), anything goes! I'm not particularly keen on setting up shop directly in Lion's Arch for any of these events (mapchat would probably be insufferable), so the gates outside in Gendarran Fields will have to do! Later this month everyone will be passing through these gates during the annual Tyria Pride event, so I thought it would be cute and thematically appropriate! You can get there from the obvious Cornucopian Fields Waypoint, or of course from going out the gate in the North of Lion's Arch (Trader's Forum Waypoint would be the closest)!

Time & Squad Details:

As always, there’ll be two parties - the first one on EU servers and the second on NA ones - with an hour break in between!
