Yhdenvertaisuuslain puitteissa opettajilla ja muulla koulun henkilökunnalla on velvollisuus luoda sellainen oppimisympäristö jossa kaikki saavat olla omia itsejään. Jos sinulla on opettaja joka puhuu homo-/transphobisesti/rasistisesti yms sinulla on oikeus kertoa asiasta eteenpäin. Johtoportaalla on velvollisuus puuttua asiaan.

My (British) mum and dad just turned up in Finland for the first time and are apparently in shock at how “unexpectedly modern” Helsinki is… given that my grandma thinks Finland is a Soviet country I’m bracing myself for a solid week of absolutely hilarious takes as they realise that some places are indeed slightly better run than the UK

Day 1: they have asked me what almost every single sign in Tampere means, terrorised several shop assistants with “EXCUSE ME MISS, WHAT IS A (pauses to read ‘maito’) MEITUU?”, and expressed amazement at the fact everything is so clean 7 or 8 times. Also turns out that my grandma wasn’t the only one convinced the “SF” on the map stood for “Soviet Finland”, my dad wanted to know how long it was part of the USSR for

Day 2: took my mum to the munkkikahvila, the cashier was like 50-something so it was easier to stand there and translate between them, when I translated my mum’s request for a whole bag of the doughnuts she heard “ja yks munkkipussi…” and yelled “MONKEY PUSSY????” loud enough for the entire café to hear

Explained to my dad today that Estonia and the other Baltic states are not north of Finland (I am not sure where he thought they were?)

The amount of times I’ve said “anteeks, mun vanhemmat ei osaa suomea” is rising by the hour

Day 3: took my parents to Rajaportti sauna and spent 45 minutes watching my dad yelp and run out every time someone threw more on the kiuas, my mum instantly disappeared and emerged an hour later looking very pink to say “the Finnish ladies are very nice but there’s an old woman in there beating herself with STICKS!”

I think they liked it actually! Most successful day so far

Success of day 3 slightly redacted, my dad tried to start an argument with a waitress about whether it was illegal to charge for water, I have once again taken advantage of being able to say “anteeks mun isästä” without him understanding

you know what tragically beautiful about ‘when I drift off, I’ll dream about you. it’s always you.’ it’s that it is unrequited. not in a sense where love isn’t returned, but in a sense of this message is unlikely to get received, at least it’s what tony believes when he records the message. he’s not declaring his love for her, to let her know how much he loves her, he’s not expecting anything back, he’s simply saying it because it’s the truth, even when food and oxygen run out, she is all that fills his mind. ‘I don’t have anyone but you…’ ‘it’s you, it’s always been you…’ ‘it’s always you.’ Not me, but you. his love is about her, not him. it’s not a declaration of love, it’s a statement. it’s selfless, it’s pure, it’s unconditional and untainted by any desire, when I drift off, I’ll dream about you. it’s quiet, subtle, powerful and sincere, it’s what he thinks of as his last words, and yet undying.

Tony Starks dying message to his lover is literally a step by step guide on how to deliver the best message you possibly can to a person who needs to live on beyond your death.

First, he starts off by referencing an inside joke (miss Potts), something only they share. Intimacy inside a joke, something tony is so well known for.

Then making sure she doesn’t wallow. His dying wish is that she doesn’t wallow in guilt. The one message he hopes she takes from him is the answer to the largest obstacle when dealing with grief. Don’t feel bad. It had to happen.

Then. Then he signs off. With the most poetic statement of devotion we’ve had in the mcu. Just, you are loved. You are the only one. Through everything it’s only been you.

Tony saying things succinctly has been one of the absolute best characterizations for him in any universe. He has always been able to say so much with so little and this is no exception.

I also love the connotation of I will dream about you. It isn’t sad. Well, it is, but the image is pleasant. Behind my closed eyes, you’re all I’ll see and that’s more than enough for me.

“when i drift off, i’ll be dreaming about you. its always you”  for real tho its literally always been her; for the past ten years. he’s not trying to be a hopeless romantic here; he’s simply telling it like it is. telling it how it’s always been. it was her voice his mind imagined calling out to him as he was being tortured in afghanistan. it was her that he wanted to spend his last days with before the palladium poisoning killed him. it was her voice he wanted to hear for the last time when he flew that nuke through the wormhole in nyc. it was her warm body that his subconscious sought physical comfort in as his mind was plagued by nightmares. it was her presence that he desperately missed when she needed a break from their relationship. it was her voice that got cut off by lost signal as he exited the earth’s atmosphere. and now its going to be her memory - her smile, her face, her body, her laugh, her voice, her - that he wants to cherish as the last breath of air leaves his lips, and he just drifts off.

Tony is not in Spider-Man: Far From Home because Pepper just had a baby and if you think for a second that Tony is missing one moment of that child’s life you are wrong. As much as he loves Pete, Tony has to stay home because “what if Morgan says her first words? Or starts crawling?!” So instead, he tells Peter to send him a bunch of pics and to FaceTime whenever he wants. Also, Happy regularly checks in. Tony also sends Peter selfies of him and Morgan wearing sunglasses and it’s very cute. Oh, and Pepper said Tony isn’t allowed to go on field trips anymore.
