I love to watch the world burn
People often think of death and destruction when they think of fire. The pain an dispair it causes. Burning down entire forests, leaving behind nothing but ash in its wake. Scaring the earth with its deadly claws. Ripping down houses without a thought. The beast with no mercy, tearing families apart. Its insatiable hunger never full no matter how many if kills. Destroying every part of a persons mind and body. People fear fire.
Not me, I love fire.
Ever since I could remember I had the ability to see people’s emotions. Water pouring off a person in fear. A light illuminating from a joyful child. A wicked tornado of grief at someone’s feet. Black tentacles reaching up someone as they yell in anger. But my favorite by far is fire. Fire represents love. And I love sitting in the park, watching as couples fire grow bigger each day, as their love spread to others igniting more fires as they go. The familial love of a parent and child. Or the love of companionship from a dog and its owner. Each fire growing bigger and bigger until they all connect and the entire park is on fire. So yes, I love watching the world burn.
Priory of the orange tree
just finished day of fallen night and it resparked my hyper fixation so here’s this
Tané: gods always speak in mysterious riddles
Nayimathun: I just said, “you are enough”
Tané: I may never know what they mean
what if…
Everyone knows the saying “a hero would sacrifice your life to save the world, but a villain would sacrifice the world for your life.” what if Aziraphale has to choose between the world’s destruction or Crowley’s? Both can’t exist at the same time. The world is cracking apart, splitting on is axis. Crowley’s begging and pleading, “please Aziraphale, save the Earth!” For he has already come to terms with his destruction. but still Aziraphale stands there, frozen with an impossible decision. “I’m not worth it!” Oh, but he was. At least, he was to Aziraphale. He had spent his entire life selflessly protecting the Earth, shouldn’t he be allowed this one selfish act? Then again, if the world died then he’d have no where left to go. He’d have nothing to protect. And here he was stuck. Was he going to be the hero of this story, or the villain? Well, that’s entirely up to him.
CALLING ALL GOOD OMENS ARTISTS
please someone draw fem Crowley and/or Aziraphale in the Marilyn Monroe pose!!!
just remember I can draw
CALLING ALL GOOD OMENS ARTISTS
please someone draw fem Crowley and/or Aziraphale in the Marilyn Monroe pose!!!
Some Crowley and Aziraphale bickering
Aziraphale: Crowley, don’t you even dare think about it. Crowley: *grabs a mug and fills it up with water*
Aziraphale: please Crowley, don’t do this
Crowley: *making direct eye contact, puts mug in microwave*
Aziraphale: Crowley I beg of you! Just talk to me! Crowley: *puts tea in microwaved water*
Aziraphale: *literally crying* I’m sorry!!!!
More GO shenanigans
Crowley frantically chasing after Aziraphale: Wait! Angel! I forgot to tell you something! Aziraphale stops and turns: yes?
Crowley panting: I… hold on… lemme catch… my breath.
Aziraphale: what is it?
Crowley: I… I forgot
something I desperately need in season 3
after Crowley and Aziraphale reunite
Aziraphale: on the verge of tears
Crowley: also on the verge of tears “no, no, don’t cry Angel, cuz if you cry then I’ll cry and nobody wants that”
Aziraphale: kisses him
so this is probably a coincidence but I noticed that in the show Lucifer he drives an old car from 1962 and in good omens Crowley drives an old car from 1926
I don’t think it was intentional but if it was it’s a neat lil detail
Sorry if this is long and rambly but I just need to get this off my chest
We all know the importance of Alpha Centauri in Good Omens. It's the great big romantic gesture Crowley makes. It's the place he asks Aziraphale to run off too. It’s the place he believes to be a safe paradise and he even suggested it to Gabriel and Beelzebub when they needed somewhere to go, but there's always been something that's bothered me about it.
Alpha Centauri is three stars.
We all know this shows relationship with symbolization. So I started thinking, what’s the importance of three?
If it was two it would be simple. Two stars orbiting around each other unaware of the outerworld, only focused on each other's pull. A cute simple romantic symbol of love, but it's never that easy.
Could it be that our ineffable disasters adopted a kid to make a trio? Adam? The Them? Murial? Jim? Us? There's just too many, maybe if we were looking at the entire Centaurus constellation, but we're just looking at Alpha Centauri.
Could it be representing Heaven, Hell, and Earth? I couldn't find any relation other than one of the stars has a roughly earth sized planet. Another dead end.
I was stumped, that was until I told my mom, only then did I have a heart shattering realization.
The three stars of Alpha Centauri represent the three kingdoms. Afterlife’s paradise In Mormon religion. They also happen to be the three layers of heaven.
That being said, it means Crowley, in his own way, asked Aziraphale to heaven first…
I'm gonna go cry now k, thx, bye.
