I like doing random info dumps, often related to my experiences! I also enjoy explaining things in an easy way for beginners and helping them start their own paths :)
My personal practice includes a lot of divination. I like to carry crystals with me and commonly incorporate glamor magic, in my makeup, outfit, and accessories! I am also a practicing norse pagan who worships Baldr primarily.

Hello! I'm aware this is super late for imbolg but at least I can answer before next year T.T Anyways I usually don't do much but here's what I do for imbolg!
I personally celebrate imbolg/imbolc by welcoming spring. I always wish for the sun to shine on this day so I can sit outside and feel the warmth of the sun, watch snow melt away. For me this means the new year, rather than Samhain, because everything gain life once more.
I also enjoy planting seeds on imbolc, and might even make it a manifestation or spell like kinda thing. The way I do it is hold the seed and give it energy and affirmations like my bank account growing like my plant does (sucks if I can't keep the plant alive tho lol).
Altars will be cleaned right before or on sabbats! I think that is what works best for me, get rid of old things and refresh offerings etc. I might also do deity readings especially for imbolc of I got the energy for it.
Last year I had an altar for imbolg, but I didn't do that this year. I had gathered a few crystals associated with the sabbat and some herbs that either grows early, is alive under the snow, or that I just associate them with imbolg. I also remember adding eggshells both for purification and because it's associated with spring cuz of chickens hatching soon!
I am dabbling more into celtic paganism and will definitely begin to honor Brigid on this day! I am still researching about her tho but I have read that Imbolc are also known as st. Brigids day, and also Brigid as the pagan goddess.
I am not super active on Tumblr sadly, but I am on Discord! And I got 2 amazing servers to advertise! One is The Candlelit Coven and the other one is Life of Witches! Click the name of the servers to join them!

This will be a bit of a long post guysss, still lotta more info to share.
Huldra and her folk go by a lot of names over all of the countries they exist. For Huldra some names are Huldr and Hylje. There are also similar creatures, or spirits, in germanic, celtic and also slavic beliefs, but of course a bit different and other names.
They are social nature creatures, rather spoken about as spirits nowadays that we normally don't see. According to the superstitions and myths would exist in all sorts of places humans would live and travel. Whether it is in rocks, mountains, trees etc, around our houses, under our stables and barn, by our mines, any place could be a place for them to live. They look like us humans, live much like us (in the older days of course), fed themselves like us etc. Some of them was a bit smaller, often wearing grey or blue. The young women, those that are known under the name Huldra, was beautiful and seductive. Looking almost exactly like us, except behind her you could see she has a cow tail and her back was sort of deep. This feature on the back can be seen on "byttinger" which is when Huldra trades your kid with her own, without you knowing. You could protect your child against this by leaving a silver ring in the cradle and baptize them as soon as possible after birth, so they get Christ's blessing. Baptism isn't enough to hold them away, so we always made sure to have something made of silver with us at all times. Could be a knife, jewelry, anything really. They do have a lot of animals and such. The biggest, most beautiful cows you have ever seen, and with Huldra, the most beautiful maiden you would ever see to watch them. They are rich on gold and silver, and they have the freshest and best crops that they will offer to you if they wanna try get you with them into the mountain. They just seem better than us in everything.
In many situations they could be anything from annoying to quite dangerous, but as long as you respected them and got them on the good side they could be nice and helpful. Not everyone have the gift to see or hear them, but they would still make sure you got that uncomfortable feeling. They tend to make themselves known in conflict- or emotion filled situations.
The story of the creation of these people is not exactly known, but we do have some theories. In one story, hey are the kids of Adam and his first wife, but Adam didn't like them so God made them to live as they are known as today. In another story, it was Eve's first kids, but she hid them from God cuz she was ashamed of them. God didn't like this and said something among the lines of "As you will hide them from me, they will also be hidden from you" There is another belief that Huldra and her folk actually might have origin as far back as the viking age. Shortly explained, we have multiple theories.
Living with this folk all around you, also maybe under the ground right outside your house, we would also have rules to not disrespect them.
Before we throw out our water we tell them things like "hush Huldra", "Watch out", "careful, who is under there". Be especially careful when there is dark out, as your water might hit their childrens beds and they will seek revenge. You were also to let all hot water cool down before throwing it, we wouldn't want to cause Huldra or her folk any harm.
You might also build something on a wrong place by accident. A story says that a man who built his barn above one of their houses had once hunted and came home with a beautiful deer. As he was parting the deer a man he didn't know approached him asking for help, "I ||shot|| a deer as well, would you be so kind to help me part it?" The man is said to reply he didn't know this man, but the strange man continued "I am your closest neighbor, set my meat by the stairs of your storehouse and I will get it from there. So I will ask you to move your barn. It is so sad, when your cows pee it drip through the ground and down in my high seat bench."
This encounter is from one of Huldra's folk that had kindly asked him to move his barn, and so he probably would as no one wanted to be in the way for them.
They also don't like if you worked or made too much noise after sunset. All of the day it wouldn't bother them, but after sunset and when it's dark, you should be quiet. A place in Norway where this was specially important, they even filled the cow's bells with fabric so it wouldn't disturb them.
On a typical old farm, not even a hundred years ago, it was normal that there was a small "extra" farm a bit away from the farm. This we called "Seter/sæter" talking about a specific one "setra/sætra". We used to have our cows there during the summer months. Before we walk in, we always had to knock and ask Huldra and her folk to stay here for the summer and use the houses on the property. When fall came you should never stay longer than supposed to, cuz when the humans lock up and leave the folk would move in. If you weren't gone it's said they would make the place unsafe, and man and animals could get sick. There is a story about a woman called Marta that stayed for longer than she was allowed. She hadn't managed to get ready with everything and leave the day before, and as she went to bed that night it was restless and the huldrefolk would throw things off the shelves etc. It's said that Marta sat up and said "I know it's not right of me to be this night, it would be impossible to leave the day before; but as soon as it is morning I will leave. Bear with me until then" And as she speaked, everything calmed down and she held her promise and left the next morning.

there was a rumor that yunho ateez dating a florist can you confirm that w tarot?https://www.allkpop.com/article/2022/10/ateezs-yunho-wrapped-up-in-dating-rumors
Hello!
So no, I will not do these kinda readings. I don't care about this being about a random stranger, celebrities or someone in your life, I am strictly not peeking into anyone's lives at all. And so I believe the news should too. Let them have their privacy.
BEFORE READING: Please do not confuse this with the stained glass tarot by James Edward! That is not the one I'm talking about!
I bought the deck called stained glass tarot. Ik I should've been looking better at the cards before purchase because it is visible in the pics, but I didn't think too much of it. However looking at it when I got them in the mail they're very clearly AI made, losing fingers, too many fingers, oddly placed stuff, oddly shaped, random lines etc.
I will attach pictures of the cards so yall can see!
My biggest problem with this is ofc that no place I've seen it has admitted the "art" being made by AI. This post is very much a reminder to check for this kinda stuff cuz now idk what to do with the deck lol.
I have seen a lot of beginner practitioners feel the need to have an altar, especially to worship a deity. This post is for you!
Do you actually need it? Nope! Now, if you want to leave offerings there are a few ways to do so.
To feel a deity's presence it's not *needed* to have an altar, but for some it does help. Sometimes you might find places that reminds you a lot of a deity. You can leave some offerings here! If you leave things like crystals it might be taken by someone passing by, but you can devote a bottle to them and bring water offerings. You can also give food offerings that's not damaging to nature or animal life around the area.
It's not needed to stress about finding an outdoor place, you might see a deity you worship in something you do instead. If you worship Gaia, Terra or Jord try connecting with nature, have a small garden if you can and pick up trash you come over (remember to wear gloves). Or if you worship Minerva or Athena you might see them in the practice of learning new things, do handcrafts and other things related to them.

A little prayer I've written! If you worship Baldr in any way or wish to honor him with a little prayer, feel free to use this.
O' Baldr, the beautiful son of the wise All-Father and gentle Frigg, whose light shines beyond the reach of death, I call on you.
The shining one, great god of purity, kindness, forgiveness, beauty and light, bless my heart with your warmth and grace. Oh shining one, may your light shine down, and guide me towards the path of clarity. May I speak words of kindness, as gentle as your spirit.
Beloved of all, your beauty humble even the fairest spring blooms, I honor you with devotion, in thought, deed, and heart. Bless this world with brighter days. May your light dwell within us, give us hope and courage to spread kindness.
There are a bunch of research list, especially pointed at beginners. I've never liked those, I think they leave out the important stuff and force on basically useless things. Yes, I agree with learning about the history, but NO I do not agree with learning about the witch types before spiritual protection!
I believe that protection and cleansing is the best starters so you can protect your energy while researching more. I also believe that rather than types of witches it's better to research different belief systems and philosophies, such as the laws of the universe, hermetic principles of the kybalion, etc.
And why say someone HAVE TO research things they don't believe in? Don't say someone have to know crystal properties if they couldn't care less about a bunch or rocks?
This is just my opinion anyways, everyone is free to have their own beliefs.

I put a small announcement in my discord server (you can join here, ages 15-30) the other day and wanted to do more research on it.
DISCLAIMER: You're still free to do whatever. I'm aware that we get plastic articles from nearly everything in our lives, but I personally believe that reducing it where we can find affordable and good options is a good thing. If you agree you might be interested in this article too!
Micro plastics are suspected to impact human health, new research shows that tea bags can shed millions of plastic particles. Especially if the tea bags are made from polypropylene, a common material for this use.
The test
The tests was done much like an average consumer would brew their cup of tea. Sterile water was heated up to 95 degrees Celsius, or 203 degrees Fahrenheit. The cups were stirred and then the particles were measured.
Study author, Alba García-Rodríguez, explained that the water, temperature and the stirring can cause the tea bags to release plastic.
Materials and particles released
The materials used in the research is polypropylene, nylon, and cellulose. All commonly used for tea bags.
From worst to best, the polypropylene released as much as 1.2 billion particles into the water. Paper cellulose followed next by releasing 135 million particles per milliliter. Lastly, nylon shed 8.18 million.
For reference, a conventional tea cup holds about 150ml, according to an article from teaguardian.com.
Exposed to human cells
After the micro and nono plastic was extracted from the tea the particles were exposed to human intestinal cells. These human cells absorbed the particles, which means the plastic articles can remain in our body after drinking tea.
Mucus cells had the highest intake of micro plastic, and within 24 hours the plastic particles had reached the nucleus of the cells, where we find our DNA.
Health impact
We still aren't completely sure how this will impact our health.
While we can't draw any conclusions just yet, experts have found the results of this research concerning. "After being ingested, the microplastics could target the tissues and organs in the gastrointestinal tract, Meeker explained. They could then enter the bloodstream and “get into circulation,” enabling them to infiltrate other tissues and organs throughout the body." (Health.com, link can be found at the bottom of this post).
Options for less micro plastics in our daily lives
García recommends loose-leaf tea reusable filters or infusers in stainless steel.
Store food in glass containers.
Avoid plastic water bottles.
Limit plastic wrapped food where you can.
Reusable drinking straws in bamboo, stainless steel, glass, etc.
Beeswax wrap can also be used to wrap food in.
Bamboo toothbrush.
Carry plastic free utensils and mug/cup in your bag if you know you will buy coffee or some food.
The list goes on with the overall message of avoiding plastic.

Mindful walks
Mindful walks isn't about just going for a walk or how often. It is about listening to nature, observe nature, stop, sit down, meditate, look at natures details in plants and rocks and landscape. The more you look the more you find. Nature is amazing that way.
Mindful shopping
Yes, mindful shopping. Do you really need it? Is it organic? Is it a brand that tests on animals? Do the brand produce somewhat ethically? (I'm aware most brands are super unethical in all ways, but try find some you can afford that are the least harmful on nature)
Ground in nature
Hug a tree, sit on a rock, feel the sun in your face, let the water wash over your feet or hands. Something about being in nature in general and interacting with nature feels refreshing and grounding. Ever tried to say hi to a tree? Hold one of it's branches and bow/curtsy to greet them? Give it a try if you haven't!
Research
Research plants and insects around you, learn to identify them and which ones toxic. Research how to forage ethically and thank nature for every harvest.
Garden
If you have a garden you can use that to know natures energies, plant some plants you like. Bonus point if they're bee-friendly! As humans it might be a normal thing to dislike insects, but it's so important for our nature. Set up insect hotels, insect friendly drinking station and other (cute) nature friendly decor!
Pick up trash
Yes, it is a very boring job. But the nature needs us to do it, and we can't always think "someone else will do it". It's a PERFECT way to honor the nature. Be the one person that matters. Remember to always bring a trash bag and a couple of gloves for the job.

Can we just normalize that not all prayers sound like perfectly composed poems??
Like yea, if you worship a deity of poetry it's an amazing addition to the prayer, but now most beginner practitioners think they have to memorize a long poem dedicated to a certain deity.
Can we normalize our prayers being a bit awkward, stuttering, finding the right words, and other "flaws"?
Definition of prayer: A solemn (formal and serious) request for help or expression of thanks addressed to a deity.
It doesn't say it has to sound pretty and poetic!
In the end, the most important thing is that your prayers are genuine, that what you say comes from your heart, and that you pray to these deities. We pray to deities to give them our time, share our thoughts and feelings, and maybe share what we are grateful for.

Wood barks/chippings promotes protection (esp from an oak tree!)
i used the skin of a fallen branch for this, i used the wood for other witchy projects, and saved the skin for my jars and mesh bags!
i used it for car protection; in a mesh bag i placed:
wood bark and chippings
rosemary
chamomile flowers (i used dried flowers)
a bay leaf with my chosen rune of protection
cloves
hanged it up my rearview mirror, then cleansed my car (before and after) and visualized white energy flowing around inside and outside the car
Lately there was a level 4 Hurricane here in Florida, tried my best to physically protect my home (and it’s energy too).
Just did a grocery run yesterday, i was nervous to see my car with water damage, but it was safe 🥹 no flooding, no water that got in my engine 🥹 and the mesh bag hanging still on my rearview mirror.
i hope this tip can help my fellow witches, (and for our baby witches too🥹)
This is your friendly reminder that herbs aren't inherently safe.
Natural doesn't mean Safe.
Lightning is natural. Opium, therefore heroin and opiate drugs are derived from poppies. Cinnamon oil will burn your skin. Lilies are toxic to cats and will cause organ failure. Activated charcoal will neutralize your prescription medications and literally anything else in your system. St. John's Wort will destroy your serotonin production and mess with your happiness threshold if it DOESNT KILL YOU FIRST.
So anyway.
Do some damn good research every time you go to eat, breathe, bring around your pets, bathe in, or smoke something. Be safe please.
