Never Forget.
many people sharing the writing post today... hard to keep up with..... know my universal advice:
if it sucks you should still write it
if it'll be unfinished you should still write it
if you never share it you should still write it
if it's not a linear fiction adventure you should still write it
if you will have fun writing it you should write it :)

... and I tremble. And grow pale for I am dying of such love or so it seems to me.

Lucy Lawless & Karen Dior (r.i.p. 2004) in 1997s Xena: Warrior Princess: “Here She Comes… Miss Amphipolis”
On an airing of this episode in the United Kingdom, the episode was lacking its usual disclaimer and had in its place: “In loving memory of Keith K Walsh”. Keith Walsh was Chris Manheim’s( Episode Writer) brother who passed away in 1992 due to complications from AIDS. He was the inspiration for the Miss Artiphys character in this story.
Miss Artiphys was in turn portrayed by Karen Dior, an adult video star in the LGBT pornography genre, who had recently moved out of porn and into mainstream film and TV. In 1995, two years before the episode aired, Dior had, herself, been diagnosed with AIDS. In the episode, Dior, as Artiphys, kisses Xena/Lucy Lawless, an act that challenged then-current notions regarding AIDS and methods of transmission of the disease. She died of AIDS-related complications in 2004.
Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor appeared at the The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras of February 1999, and Lawless wore the gown Miss Amphipolis wore in this episode, O'Connor wore the gown she wore as Tyrella in If the Shoe Fits, including tiara.
Xena and Gabrielle + Tropes
look if gabrielle ever wanted xena to like settle down with her and live with the amazons and raise their totally not evil this time magic baby together the only way it could work is like by amazon queen gabrielles decree they refocus all their efforts into constructing an insane complex death maze around the local outcropping of ambrosia and like advertise it far and wide making it like the disneyland of murder death kill labyrinths for people with ambitions of godhood and u know every few months when someone succeeds and gets the ambrosia xena can stop pacing around the camp all antsy and get that sicko grin on her face and go like fight the latest ambrosia obsessed freak to the death for a bit and like if its ever gabrielles unsettlingly close advisor who keeps trying to subtly drop hints to gabrielle about how amazon divorce law works and that its also super normal for amazon queens to take on many lovers and that she would do anything for gabrielle if like she ever decides to have delusions of godhood to get xena out of the way well that only makes it more fun for xena to have a crazy gravity defying death battle with and gabrielle of course is kept entertained by having a captive audience for her stories and impressionable girls she can mold into the first generation of amazon theater kids to act out her plays and of course rules and bureaucracy she can play around with yeah this is how they would save their marriage from xena like dying like a caged zoo animal in like a tiny concrete cage from boredom and lack of enrichment she just needs a monthly crazed freak to battle (the death labyrinth is for weeding out all the boring posers who wont entertain her)
this would of course meet with great resistance from traditionalist amazon factions who believe the only jobs a young amazon should get to choose between are ceremonial drummer and dying in the centaur war and xena and gabrielle are upending the whole paradigm with the options of theater kid and death maze engineer and believing in peace and all but this is solved by xena killing the latest traditionalist amazon true believer usurper who ate of the ambrosia in the town square and gabrielle is like wow i love democracy :)
i found these on my old laptop that i forgot to post
