It's much too hot to not draw Punz enjoying the beach. At least one of us is having an good time this summer.

I used her skirt from the series island outfit as inspiration for her overshirt. And I'm kind of amused at how much detail I put into her shorts, considering I knew they were going to be half-hidden behind see-through fabric.

Sun and Moon, such a good prompt!

Originally I wanted to do the typical MoonEugene and SunRapunzel, but I already did that! And I kinda love that piece so I knew I likely wouldn't make anything I liked more. I also wanted to do something different! New!

So after some brainstorming, I realised there really wasn't a better way to start the week than the lights!

I intended to write a short piece with Eugene excitedly making a moon lantern for himself because it represent the Dark Kingdom and Rapunzel had her sun lantern and he wanted to be unique.

But it's super hot where I live and I've had terrible brain fog for a while so I decided to leave it at drawing which is more compatible with brain fog.

Anyway, I wanted to dress them up in sun and moon colours, so Eugene got a blue suit, Rapunzel got a dress the colour of her blonde hair, which took me a while to redesign so it wouldn't look like a raincoat.

But I like it.

I'll upload a video later today with this image but a sort of panning affect? You'll see. It's cool, this image was perfect for me to create that video and I could not help myself!

Anyway, hope you're all having a happy New Dream Appreciation Week!
