im gonna answer that anon re:whether i am responsible for the Coquette Revival but not to them directly but to just anyone who may come across my account
in short i say i played a major part in it. @heavenhood along with our friend who was also around during nymphet era talked a LOT about coming back to tumblr under the name coquette during quarantine our blogs were among the first few blogs to use coquette as an actual community to engage with each other post 2017, seeing as tho the coquette tag was just used for exposure and was dead with less than 100 ppl following it
we decided to bring it back because as those who were around during doelet know, it was a weird environment that was extremely racist and focused a lot on trauma and was just not a positive place at all and this is where i met @vampyr3wife and she was with me during a lot of the reviving coquette as we both didnt like the environment that doelet became
coquette was pretty active in insta (this is where i met @yayodolls ) and as she can confirm, it was a very different environment that again doesnt really resemble coquette as we know it now
coquette was also p active on wattpad in the form of guides but it was still using the term nymphet as it was the only platform tbat hadnt banned/flagged the term. in a sea of nymphet guides most were targeted towards white girls with maybe ONE special chapter for black girls and that was it so i made ONE of the first coquette guides targeted towards black girls specifically

after this i moved to YouTube to combat a lot of the misinformation Billie and the rest of the doelet era spread about the tumblr nymphet era, a lot of people found me and coquette thru this video
during this time of rebuilding the coquette tag to be more than me and 4 other people i started creating blogs and dming people handing them out to them and i actually managed to give lots of people blogs! and the ones who did not accept were very kind about it and ended up making coquette tumblr blogs after i was talking to them about my goal of rebuilding the community i loved again this is how i met @yayodolls
and through my wattpad, tumblr, and YouTube videos i met jaime loftus and was featured in episode 8 of her lolita podcast another avenue where lots of people discovered coquette thru me
this is also where i met my friend, youtuber Lola Sebastian who had been with me during my journey of getting back into and reviving coquette
but the way i went into reviving coquette is much different from how it is now portrayed. for instance this was the first time i used coquette as an actual community tag + subsequent posts describing my intentions which @r0sypeach was very helpful with as she joined me in this
and the following are posts i made when we officially got into the swing of things
so as you can see coquette when i was in the process of filling the tag was completely different to how it is now which is what allows people to deny i was a major part in reviving it
it got turned into everything i fought against: sterile, toxic and exceedingly white
