Twilight is a monster movie in the worst way.

Carlisle, a man with supposed supernatural level compassion, changing humans into creatures he knows are nearly certain to take lives while simultaneously depriving them of their own deaths. Forced into stasis, never getting sick or dying, but also unable to cry, to grow mentally. A near constant burn in their throats barely satiated by blood.

And even though there are a million and one unsunny places in the world, the Cullens move to Forks, where they know their presence will force the nearby Quileute tribe to shift into wolves.

And Bella. Bella, with her whole life ahead of her. Bella, who was set to grow old, go to college. Maybe she would've been an English Professor. Bella who seemed indifferent to the idea of children, pregnant with a fetus that slowly sucked the life out of her, yet garnered her unwavering loyalty. Bella, who when visited by her father after being transformed, went unrecognized. Bella who died. Charlie who didn't recognize his baby girl, didn't understand what this thing that spoke with his daughter's voice was.

Jacob, tethered against his will to the thing that killed the love of his life. Jacob, doomed to play house forever with his natural enemies.

Rewatching atla episodes for Reasons and I just realised that Zuko found Appa the night after he found out he was missing. The gaang have been desperately searching for, what? A few weeks? And Zuko sees a poster saying Appa is missing and just squares tf up and finds him immediately. What a fucking madman.

i mean he had already managed to actually find the avatar, whom literally the entire world (except katara lmao) had believed was dead and gone forever. im pretty sure if zuko decides he is going to Find Something the universe rearranges itself to put it in his path.
