I wanted to share this, at the beginning when I created this page on facebook, I knew facebook was one of the most Anti LGBT/homophobic social medias. one of my goals was to post LGBT articles anyway and go against people in the black community. The first few articles I posted you scrolled you wouldnāt even be able to see a few defending comments, every single comment was homophobic, and no one defended the LGBT community. As I continued posting other articles and these, putting my opinions in the posts, and arguing with people in the comments, over the span of a few months, it died out tremendously, to the point where now you canāt make a comment on that page without Black people attacking you and protecting the LGBT full force, it was mad surprising:Ā
Today, I made this post about a Transgender woman in someoneās church, I was even afraid to post it because I thought maybe I should take it even slower, I thought that even though they defend Transgender people on this page now, they definitely gonna be likeĀ āthats his church thoā,Ā āi defended the lgbt a lot but this is crossing the line, it is their place of worship their rulesāĀ āthis is too farāĀ āthereās a limitāĀ āyall going too farā, but this is how they reacted (mind you the majority of them are black, 98% of them, and majority are christians)
There are some faces I recognize from the beginning when I made who made comments that were homophobic/lgbt phobic, liked comments that were homophobic, who now argue and fight against people who come for the LGBT, one example is that Judah dude last person who commented, and on other posts too I see a lot of people who were anti before who now defend LGBT a lot.
Sorry this was long, just something im proud of. Actually arguing against them and taking stances, and not standing by like other News sitesĀ āwithout taking sidesā changes a lot of people. Right now at about 200,000 followers all together, I think it will make a significant difference of black communities on facebook once I reach my goal of 1 million
