I….can’t believe ace ppl are using this horrific time to like… complain about “being invisible” when being hypervisible literally gets us. murdered. I can’t believe non-americans are like bragging about how “civilized” they are compared to us. i can’t believe using this as a platform to express hatred for muslims. like i can’t believe today. i cannot believe the events of today. I’m so disappointed by the world I’m just so unspeakably sad and angry and broken and afraid and so many people have the nerve to be selfish I can’t escape this feeling of being powerless I’m floored honestly

Hi! I'm a trans woman who is ready to take another big step in her transition by starting electrolysis.

I’m raising funds to help pay for electrolysis!

If you don’t know me, I’m a trans woman of color writer and editor focused on creating trans stories and making space for our work to thrive. I’ve written my own books, based on my experiences as a queer Mexican trans woman and I co-edited a recent anthology of fiction by trans women of color. I also helped edit a poetry book that Venus Selenite just published, and I’ve been editing essays by Devan Diaz that you might have read on Autostraddle and Nylon. And I’ve got a few more projects that I’m trying to get started this summer, like a volume 1 of a poetry zine by trans women of color and a print magazine of art/fashion by #girlslikeus.

Anyway, like a lot of other trans women, I’ve had trouble finding safe, steady work while transitioning and getting my documents legally updated.
