Corrupted Juno AU

Emre didn’t leave Overwatch because Freja confessed her feelings. In the years following its collapse, the two of them would become bounty hunters, finding the most deadly criminals and fugitives in the world, before reluctantly rejoining Overwatch at the request of Sojourn.

They’re sent on a rescue mission and come face to face with a new mysterious Talon operative, with purple hair, a chassis containing an eye on their chest, and a hopelessness that could rival a Greek tragedy. Emre and Freja see the destruction. They’ve tallied the death toll. They have to take this agent out.

But they’re just a kid. They can’t be older than Wuyang, Anran, or Hana. Emre hesitates to put a bullet through their chest, especially when he sees them break into tears and collapse into the fetal position.

Emre and Freja are in agreement. They were sent on a rescue mission. They’ll rescue this kid, too.
