          The hero’s eyes widened as the words poured out the young angel’s lips, mouth quickly curling into a smile once they finished, cheeks covered in a crimson colour. His arms quickly outstretched and wrapped around the other, pulling them into a tight hug. 

                    { Pit… Thank you, I never imagined you feeling such a way towards me.. But about Palutena.. } 

          He paused for a moment, pulling away to look at the other, smile softening. 

                    { You did your best, and that’s all anyone can ask. No need to push yourself and dwell on the past.  }

Pit let out a surprised noise as Link pulled him into a tight hug. it was more his wings that pained him, not the act itself.

"It's kind of hard not to like you, Link." he admitted, rubbing the back of his head. His hostility was because of him actually being afraid of his skills. Pit didn't hate him. it was the exact opposite.

"Are you sure? The captain of the guards couldn't stop it, so what use am I?"

               …Perpetual sourpuss?

         Eyebrows quick to furrow down, a growl left          the king’s throat, a cold glare shot straight at          the angel. It was rare to anger Marth, but things          like this weren’t something he was going to go          lightly with. The right corner of his lips pulled          itself up, separating the thin line it was making          just a little, showing sharper-than-usual canines.

                 ”Watch your tongue.”

         He snapped out, the fingers on the hilt of the          falchion gripping onto it even more tightly than          before. Muscles had tensed up, shoulders raising          as his head lifted. Marth kept the same cold glare,          though.

Jeez, what was this guy's problem? Someone else with a tragic past they can't let go? Pit understood pain, as he endured trials himself. At the same time, it frustrated him to see people unable to move on, and live in a depressing memory.

"i'll watch what I see fit." he answered back.

Marth sighed, rolling his eyes before         turning his head to the left.

               ”Maybe if you knew what I went                through, you’d understand why.”
