“You may want me darling, but you know my rules about letting beautiful girls go unappreciated” Noah responded with a grin, flexing his shoulders as she gripped them. The sound of a giggle made him arch an eyebrow and shoot her a smirk. “Now theres a interesting sound to hear out of you Barker” He said, before rolling his eyes at her joke. “Glad to hear you think so.” He responded, letting her kiss him again, one hand sliding across her hip and under her shirt slowly
Ash hummed out softly as she broke the kiss, resting her head back against the bookshelf behind her again and shivering under his touch. “Shut up, Greene. Girls giggle often. Especially in the presence of attractive boys.” Her hands trailed down his back, tugging at the shirt he was wearing to expose skin that she could touch. “If you’re so determined to appreciate me, though, Noah, perhaps I should make you worship me.” She muttered softly against his ear as she lightly scratched his skin.
“I think it’s something everyone struggles with. It just depends on how much you get from the class and study it.” Robbie was thankful that he had finished the dreaded class. It wasn’t as terrible as everyone said, but hated it nonetheless. “It won’t help though if you think you’re going to do poorly. Aim for an E or an A.” He shrugged, giving a bit of a word of encouragement. Expecting failure would lower esteem as much as it would for expecting a high grade. “What are you bothering to study for?” He asked, flipping the page and glancing at the material before his eyes.
She was playing charm with him. She even admitted it and Robbie’s lip lifted up into a flirt. “I don’t know what you mean by that, darling.” Robbie brought up with his head tilted to the side, glancing at her. “Distractions are usually worth the cost of looking, unless you’re on a broomstick or apparating. But in this case, you’re not being one.”
“It’s hard to focus in class when you could care less about it, honestly.” Ash replied, not looking up from her book this time as she re-read the same sentence over again. Ash’s idea of an interesting class was Defense Against the Dark Arts or Charms. Practical magic that she could use to defend herself and others. She lifted her shoulders in a shrug as she turned a page in her own book. “At least if I aim low I won’t feel disappointment when I do fail.” Ash didn’t have self esteem issues, at all, but she liked to think of herself as a realist, and she knew that she wouldn’t be doing well in Herbology. “I’ve been neglecting my studies lately for more... extra curricular activities. Gotta get caught up.”
She felt herself smirk a bit, but she didn’t look up again. The easiest way to hook a person was to feign disinterest unless they gave you reason not to. “Worth the cost of looking? Never quite heard it phrased like that.” Finally she lifted her eyes again to glance his way, leaning forward a bit. “Do me a favor if you’re going to look for too long, though, and let me know. I’d love to return the favor.”

Ryan smiled with his eyes still closed, “thanks for that, I do admit, I don’t even know how sane I am at this point. But more importantly, I do apologize for anything I did or said that offended you. I also wanted to really apologize for taking you to that shrine, I didn’t mean for it to get so out of hand.” He peeked out the corner of his eye and smiled a bit at her, “I’m not happy how it happened, but I’m not too angry I met you. You, believe it or not, can actually be a good person when you want to be, and I know you listen to about half of what I say, but I’m grateful that you even try to listen half the time.” He opened his eyes a little more and smirked, “I’m not so sorry for this,” he pulled Ash off his chest and up to his face, and began to playfully kiss and bite her neck a little, once he’d finished he set her back down on his chest and smiled with a little wink from under the covers.”
Ash laughed a little at his slick move of pulling her up to his level, swatting playfully and sticking out her tongue at him before settling her head against his shoulder, lightly kissing his collarbone. “I’ll take it, though I wouldn’t exactly call myself a good person.” She said once she’d settled in, eyes closing. “And for the record, I listen to everything you say. Believe it or not, my brain is not 100% sex. More like 90%. The other ten percent is reserved for actually giving a shit about people and thinking about where I’m gonna end up in ten years and having a constant existential crisis.” Laughing softly again, she shook her head as much as she could with her head settled against his chest. “I’m... happy that I met you, too, I guess. You’re not the worst person to call friend. Though, I don’t use that word lightly, so don’t fuck it up.” After a slight pause, she sighed. “Did I hurt you badly with my little... honey badger attack?”
“Checkmate”
“I don’t think I’m the only one who “flipped their lid,” but honestly I don’t think I have the emotional capacity to deal with what happened,” Ryan said between laughs, looking down at her as she laid there covering her self with the Shirt she’d left there earlier when she’d changed. Ryan had finally run out of words to say, “if you want to say anything snarky or “honest” I’m pretty open to hearing anything other than the sound of my voice right now, I can’t seem to get over the feeling I said something either rude, stupid, or both.” Ryan collapsed into a heap finally, laying his head back into the pillow, the feeling of expelling all that raw emotion exhausted him, and at this point he didn’t care what she did, his battery was dead. “Another option is always just sleeping, I don’t care, if you want to leave to go do you, or stay to sleep/chat, but I am exhausted over whatever… that was. So I’m going to lay here until you choose what you want to do.”
Ash rolled her eyes a little, watching as he fell back before actually saying anything to him. “You did say something rude, and stupid, but to be fair, I did too, and I also kind of... hit you a lot. Sorry.” Sighing a little, she shifted a little, resting her head on his chest, honestly just for the human contact. She felt totally drained herself, though she figured it was just lack of energy from wasting it all on their fight. She would never guess that it was possible to be emotionally exhausted. “I feel like I owe you an apology, for more than just the... attacking you and beating you up thing.” She paused for a second, laughing a little. “But you owe me an apology, too. So, I’ll go first. I’m sorry that I yelled and said awful things and called you crazy, though, the jury is still out on that on, and also for hitting you.... a lot.” Resting her arms on his chest, she looked up at him. “You know, you’re not a bad kisser when you’re super ticked off, though. So... you’ve got that going for you.”

What the fuck had happened? One minute, Ash was going down on Ryan in a fit of what could only be descrbied as blind rage, and the next, she was laying face down on his bed, head buried in his pillow trying to calm a fit of giggles at this idiot boy. She grabbed his blanket, pulling it up over her head, giggles still going. She heard him speaking, but she wasn’t registering the words clearly.
Finally, it seemed, that she had enough self control to calm her laughing, and she peeked out from under the blanket, watching him carefully. “I dunno. Am I supposed to feel something. I think I’m out of emotions that aren’t ‘smug’ or ‘condescending’ to be completely honest. And I’m not sure those are actually feelings.” Her smug smirk was back, and she rested her chin on her hand, head tilting slightly. “How do you feel? You’re the one that pretty much snapped your lid, friend.”
You know what house I'm in, and I usually go to bed around midnight every night. *kanye shrug* Still pretty sure you're gonna wimp out though.
Challenge fucking accepted.
Just because Robbie was calculating and always made sure to try and at least predict something, that didn’t mean he could be oblivious. It was usually in his moments of needing to pay attention to something, Robbie expected little to occur from those around him. His eyes were back and trained on his textbook as he read and made sense of what was written in fine print. With this occurring, Robbie had no idea that the girl was glancing at him. He wasn’t exactly positive as to what her name was. He’d seen so many people through the halls that he manged to lose track sometimes.
He glanced up at the small huff, finally distracted from studying the book he had. His eyes glancing at hers warily. Was it a huff of attention? Of irritation? Possibly exhaustion? Robbie left it alone. There were too many possibilities and he didn’t want to ask questions about it either. “Next year for the NEWT’s. It’s better to go through textbooks to review. It’s Defense against the Dark Arts though.” Robbie’s nose wrinkled at the mention of Herbology. He disliked the class immensely, finding that it was from when he knocked a mandrake over and nursed a migraine for a week after fainting. Herbology was definitely his worst subject. “That….. means you’re right. Herbology isn’t a subject to mess around with,” Robbie agreed and returned a soft smile. “Ash? Somewhat sounds familiar. I’m Robbie, if you hadn’t known.” The name Ash had found familiar was the thing though and Robbie couldn’t think of where he had heard it before. “It’s not a problem. There was a open spot and I don’t need two spots for my things.”
Ash gave a small chuckle, shrugging her shoulders a bit as she leaned to rest her head on her hand. “Herbology is probably one of my worst subjects, honestly. I’ll be surprised if I make above a D on my OWLs.” She shook her head a bit, glancing at the book in disdain as she did. She’d never really cared for the subject, honestly, but she stuck with it, because she was proud and refused to let anything best her. Her father had liked Herbology as well, so she took it so they could talk about it in letters and over breaks, but it wasn’t her first choice of subject. She felt her lips quirking up at the corners as she smirked again, looking him over again.
“Well, you’re a brave soul, you know. Not a lot of people would be willing to let me sit with them. I tend to be... distracting.” She batted her eyelashes at him playfully, teeth curling around her lip for a second before she spoke again. “But, you know, it’s not intentional. I don’t mean to be such a... distraction.” Her free hand came up to brush her hair over her shoulder as she turned back to her book. “Let me know if I need to tone down the charm, love, and I’ll try my best.”
It wasn’t like Mishala was going to say no, she wanted to play with this and see where it went. The initial kiss was just exactly like she had with Adam, but Ash’s lips were softer, plumper and when the other’s tongue flicked against her lips, Mishala’s parted willingly, a little sound escaping her lips as she returned the favor, swiping her tongue out to flick across Ash’s bottom lip, scooting closer to Ash and letting her hand fall on the brunette’s leg.
Ash smirked a bit against the girls lips at that little sound, and she moved her hand from the girls face to the back of her head, tongue sliding over the other girls as soon as her mouth was open. For a moment, she explored the girls mouth with her tongue before she broke the kiss completely, and she examined Mishala’s face after for any signs of discomfort. “Well... what did you think?”
Alise looked over at the girl. “Oh, are you admitting that you’re at fault now?” she snapped, but couldn’t help but soften a bit. She would take the girl up on the offer, but not before giving her some grief.
“Of course not. Never admit when you’re wrong, darling.” Laughing a bit, Ash shrugged, giving a cheeky wink. “Are you going to let me take you out or not? I promise you won’t be disappointed. I’m great at making things up to people.” She tried her best to turn up the charm, flirting. This girl was cute. She had a feeling she’d be an interesting ‘date’.
Dom kept her brow raised as she crossed her arms over her chest. “Okay, I’ll give you five minutes. If you don’t get me interested in five minutes, I’m leaving.” Dom thought it was a fair deal, and seriously wondered what the girl would do to try to get her interested.
Ash took that as a challenge, and she loved a good challenge. She moved close to the girl, making a full circle around her before stopping behind her, leaning around her shoulder to give her a smirk. “You’re feisty. I like that in a girl. Tell me, what do you enjoy? Soft and slow kisses? Neck bites and scratching? I can offer both, love. I can offer anything you like.” Reaching up, she brushed the girls hair away from her neck, boldly pressing a soft kiss to her neck before pulling back again. “How about a name? I’d hate to not remember you later.”
Leah smiled and went to sit next to the girl. “I’m, uh, Leah,” she said and took a hit from the joint. “Yeah, I’ve been smoking basically since I got to Hogwarts. Family shit and shit.” She shrugged and handed the joint back to the girl. “I don’t really socialise a whole lot so,” she said and shrugged again.
Ash nodded, head tilting slightly. “Family shit is rough. Trust me, I dunno what your situation is, but I have some family shit, too.” She rested back in the chair a bit, taking another hit and offering it to the girl again. “Well,” she said, feeling herself deflate as a cloud of smoke poured from her mouth and she gave a slight cough. “If you ever need a smoking buddy, my friend Ciara and I are usually around and willing.”
Iris didn’t know what to do do so they just sat there and pretended to study while they thought about the exchange they just had and listened to the girl talk. When she introduced herself to them, Iris looked up at her. “I-I’m Iris,” they replied. They knew their cheeks were quite red and they tried to subtly cover them up.
“Please don’t hide the blush. It’s adorable.” Ash could have sung, she was so pleased with herself. She hadn’t even needed to try hard with them to get them blushing. “It’s nice to meet you, Iris. What are you studying? Besides me, of course.” Was that a bit cocky? Probably, but Ash didn’t care.
Why was Ash asking for permission to kiss her? That seemed silly, but Mishala just nodded. “Do you want my to prick my finger and sign something in blood that says yes you can kiss me?” It was meant as a joke, but she would if that’s what Ash wanted. Mishala had nothing against blood. “Yes, you can kiss me and do whatever you want.”
So, she had the permission now, and Ash decided to start with a peck. She liked starting slow and building... most of the time, anyway. She reached over to cup Mishala’s face with her hand and leaned in, slowly, building anticipation, a smirk on her face. Finally, she pressed her lips to the other girls. Just a gentle peck at first, but Ash was soon leaning in more, using her tongue to flick at the other girls lips, asking her to part them slightly, just enough so she could get in and show her a proper french kiss.
Robbie had found himself lost in the textbook again. Studying was easy for the Ravenclaw to immerse himself into. Particularly because he enjoyed the good grades and the remembering of things that weren’t quite important, though he was certain that they would at one point in his life. His fingers threaded through the pages of his Defense Against Dark Arts textbook, it was always best to get an early preparation for his NEWTS anyways.. Chapter skipping was always effective and Robbie was underlining important parts that he had been tested on before.
He didn’t notice the other when she stopped at the table until she spoke. His eyebrows automatically furrowed together at her words and Robbie bit his lip to try not to laugh. But then she corrected it and Robbie faltered for a second. He couldn’t exactly make sense of the situation, something he was generally good at. “I thought I was going to get away with whatever you had said previously,” Robbie spoke, ignoring the heating of his cheeks. He was glad that he rarely blushed. “My looks aren’t as good at yours, but feel free.”
Ash felt herself smirking a bit, and she sank into the seat beside him as soon as she was given the okay, setting her bag beside her on the floor and pulling out any random book she could get at first. Herbology, not the best choice, but it would do. She flipped open to a random page and pretended, for several minutes, to just study. She was occasionally giving the boy the side eye, trying to remember if she’d encountered him before. His name was... Richard? Randy? Something with an R and he was a prefect. She knew that much because she got in trouble enough, but she also knew that it was mostly her own house prefects that caught her.
Finally, after biting her lip for a moment, she turned to look at him, letting out a small huff. “What’re you studying? I’m sure its much more interesting than what I’m stuck with. I’m a pretty big failure in Herbology, unfortunately.” She gave him a small smile, reaching up to twirl her hair around her finger. “I’m Ash, by the way. It’s so nice of you to share your table with me.”
Somebody put ash on a leash!!!
She would probably be too into that for it to do any good. Though I would like to get in on some of that action.
