Knocking at Daphne’s door, Axl ran a hand through his freshly washed hair and shifted his weight from foot to foot, waiting for an answer. He hadn’t really meant to ask his friend out on a date but drunk him did so on a dare and he wasn’t about to back out. Besides, he found Daph sweet and super attractive in the first place so it wasn’t like it would be torture.

He’d even dressed up for his date, well not exactly but he’d put on jeans and a clean button down which was a step up from his normal basketball shorts and sleeveless t-shirts.
