we have! love interests for the otome game! and a title!

I'll be posting updates using the #galacticcorporatedropouts tag, and trying to get everyone (aka 3 characters) a little character card and do a logo for the game next

both sei and x-9 are the onsite team for a planetary survey expedition, with the MC acting as their remote handler. the MC mostly interacts with them through a holographic projection as well as encrypted calls, so there's a bit of diegetic UI work there :D

x-9 is from an older line of worker bots, refurbished for surveying work but he's acting quite a bit more ~human than he's supposed too. i'm still sketching it out, but his face screen can display pictures, and he's incredibly goofy about it.

sei is a contracted merc, who has been making a living taking on dangerous jobs no one else would for most of his life. he's also earthborn, making him way sturdier than spaceborn folks who tend to suffer under strong gravity. his right eye is a cyber implant!

putting my thoughts down for my potential otome jam project

so: inspired by the sci-fi/cyberpunk banner art for this year, takes place on a scientific survey mission (maybe a 'protect the environment' bg story?)

two LI so far, one NB-masc robot and one DILF merc accompanying them, the twist comes from the player not being physically present on the mission at all for her safety as a scientist. so when you "explore" the base, you're just projecting your hologram through futuristic video calls, allowing you to teleport as will

there's so much fun to have with that concept!! because you could spy on conversation you're not supposed to hear, hack into computers, and the ROMANCE is so interesting to get spice into despite the lack of physicality, plus it allows the reader to project a bit more easily? and i may add a bit of turn-based RPG 'combat' which works because you're playing as a remote operator ordering your party around

im actually really into the idea, and i KNOW it'll be good when everything falls into place that naturally

(also there could be a fun secret third romance with your female coworker hehehehe)
