Rey had felt when she talked to Kylo it was easy. She never usually talked to many people that easily but with Kylo it was different. Even talking to other customers she never opened up as much as she did with him. She didn’t know why it felt so different talking to him and she wasn’t one to really complain.
As the past week went on it felt nice that she would be doing something more than just staying as a bartender her whole life. But now that had all changed and she soon found out that she was destined to do more. When she got to know Kylo more without the disguise she honestly felt like she could relate to him somehow. Even during the week, she had felt as if she was asked a lot of questions that she had answered truthfully.
That morning Rey was up early and getting ready for the day. When she had got a text from Kylo that he was on his way she sent a quick ok to let him know she was ready.
To others, Kylo would have still appeared to have been closed off during their short conversations: yes, no, we’ll see... they were the answers that he gave to her questions. Little would an outsider know that they were more than what he usually offered to queries. Kylo was notoriously known to even being awful during interviews, only offering what was essential, making for boring watches considering that the masses and the fans wanted insights and stories.
When he arrived to what was Rey’s home, he placed his car in park and opened the trunk and the backseat door. He wasn’t sure how much space Rey would have needed for her belongings, so he wanted to be ready. Kylo sent that he was outside and waited for her to appear.
