Amount of people who respect trans women but not trans man genuinely baffles me. Comrade, you are not "transfemenist" you are just transphobic with extra steps.
30 something heroic transfeminist sheltered tumblr-socialized trans people love to just absolutely fucking brutalize any trans masc they see into submission . yall seriously canât help yourselves either and you think youâre so cool doing it. there is no trans masc you wonât desperately try to bludgeon out of existence and pat yourself on the back for
hey so what the fuck is wrong with you
blatant transphobia over here đ«©đ«© genuinely starting to wonder if im bad because im ftm because of all this shit
am i really inherently evil? should i really just disappear because of who i am?
man⊠:(
i don't generally want to address queer issues directly on this blog because i just like nerding out about theology, but i've seen a lot of terrible crap in the trans community lately and i don't really feel comfortable with my consciousness not saying anything, even if what i say is stupidly simple as a trans woman i do not support the weird wave of transandrophobic nonsense going on right now and i want whatever transmascs that follow me - if any - to know that i love all of my trans brothers just as i love everyone (or try to)
why are people getting on here lying and saying that the pain caused by period cramps in people without uteruses is the exact same as pain from menstruating because the pain from menstruating has NOTHING to do with the uterus itself. Sure, that cramping is brought on by hormones and trans women experience similar hormonal fluctuations and periods. But to say that the pain from menstruation comes from the muscles surrounding the uterus and not the uterus itself just feels like some really insane mental gymnastics.
I also understand that some people who have had hysterectomies still experience cramping. But again, saying that people who do have uteruses donât experience any pain on account of the contracting of the uterus feels like a slippery slope cause next youâll be saying that birth doesnât hurt because of uterus contractions it hurts because of hormones. Please.
"saying that people who do have uteruses donât experience any pain on account of the contracting of the uterus"
Who has said this
on a post about how trans womenâs hormonal periods are the exact same as people with uteruses menstruating. not gonna put the person on blast but yeah lol.

i just get really concerned about the way that people constantly remind trans men not to become misogynistic but donât do the same with like any other group not even cis men
itâs because theyâre using misogyny as a shield. so when they run into a trans man they want to abuse, they can cry misogyny when that trans man sticks up for himself.
they have to create context for their abuse by weaving a narrative that trans men are uniquely at risk for becoming misogynists over all other groups. that way, when a trans man is experiencing transandrophobia and sticks up for himself, they can say âlook at you, youâre just a disgusting misogynist. you really are a MANâ
"transandrophobia doesn't exist because cis men don't experience oppression for being men" i'm not sure where in the conversation we got lost but we're not actually talking about cis men right now
anyway heres your reminder that its not possible for trans men to hold male privilege in a transphobic patriarchal society where the government doesnt view us as men even if we do pass (which isnt something that all trans men want)
male privilege as a term was not coined with trans men in mind and its shitty to use it against us
update your understanding of feminism or get left behind.

Nonbinary people, intersex people, genderqueer and gender nonconforming people, two spirit people, and other culture-specific genders being negatively affected by anti-trans legislation are not "collateral damage." Any and all nonconformity with the Western cisperisexist sexgender binary is being punished on purpose.
nonbinary reminder that no gendered bathroom is ever going to align with my gender identity and that single sex spaces are inherently exclusionary. i shouldnât have to misgender myself or make myself unsafe to use the toilet or get changed at the gym. when you ragepost about how trans people are now not able to use spaces that align with their gender identity all i can say is wow. tuesday again is it
you cant even say that something bad happened to you that was trans specific because its actually worse for everyone else in the queer community actually. actually that didnt happen. actually shut up because youre a man. shut up because everyone has it worse than you. shut up and listen. nothing bad can ever happen to you post transitioning. sexual assault actually doesnt affect trans mascs/men because other people have it worse. misogyny stops when you change your pronouns.
this shit makes me wanna kms. all we get told is to shut up. im so fucking sick of it. im never going to shut up about what i have to go through and i dont care if it makes people angry. i cant even read past 4 reviews on a book about transmasculinity without someone completely enraged that a trans man could say his life is hard as a trans man. im never going to forgive these ignorant fucks that think ostracizing trans men out the trans community is somehow helping trans women. saying that trans women completely have it worse in every way (obviously there are things that they have worse just like we do and we shouldnt be derailing each others unique struggles) is not fucking helping them. you are just making things worse for everyone. i never truly believe that people who say these things actually care about trans women because what are they doing for them besides making angry posts about trans men. sorry if i worded things badly. im angry.
