2 points on your license. new jersey law says 2 points on your license is given after “improper crossing of a bridge,” or “failure to keep right,” or something else just as small. in fact, 5 POINTS are given when you get caught TAILGATING.
2 points on her license is what they’re giving the woman that left my uncle with a shattered skull dead on the side of a road in the Hills last week because she didn’t realize a driver’s responsibility is to look where she is fucking going. her crime is supposedly less horrible than TAILGATING.
i just came back to school after burying my uncle a few days ago. we buried him in the suit he had just bought to walk his daughter down the aisle in. her wedding is in 10 days. 10. read that again. still don’t know who’s walking her down the aisle now. i left home after that insane few days of clutching onto my aunts and my mom crying in robert wood johnson hospital for over 30 HOURS, watching my grandparents stand in front of their son-in-law’s body in an open casket, sleeping next to my sister for a week because i was scared that someone else in my family would be dead when i woke up, because now anything was possible.
or at least, anything except for this woman getting away. that’s what i thought. i thought justice would clearly be brought, considering it’s as simple as she was DRIVING, her car HIT A PERSON because she WAS AT FAULT, and now THAT PERSON IS DEAD. i thought it would be absolutely impossible for anything this unfair to ever happen. WE HAVE A LEGAL SYSTEM IN AMERICA. THIS IS WHAT IT SHOULD BE USED FOR.
even if we weren’t friends i need help. please. she’s a fucking murderer. it’s unbelievable that i need to be begging people to help support putting a murderer in our town away, that the police couldn’t do it themselves. but please. i’m begging now. i will do anything. please share this and tell your parents and ask them to share it too, tell anyone that will listen because that is what i’ll be doing.
THIS PERSON IS ABOUT TO WALK AWAY PERFECTLY FINE AFTER LEAVING A DEAD BODY AND A BROKEN FAMILY BEHIND HER. PLEASE HELP FIGHT THIS.

the legal system failed us. they cannot have taken more than two fucking seconds looking over our case if this is the verdict they reached. they are charging her with “careless driving.” in fact, the punishment is so light that she’s even driving right now without a problem. A PERSON IS DEAD. i don’t care if she’s charged with manslaughter or vehicular homicide or if she’s put away for the rest of her life, this wealthy woman in a quiet rich town is not getting away with murder. please help us.
