So out of Enjolras and Grantaire who is Crowley and who is Aziraphale?

Because the first thought I had was 'Well clearly Enjolras is Aziraphale because Righteous Fury and he's not that much of a sinner, besides thinking guns lend weight to a moral argument and being fairly okay with killing kids*'

But then I got to thinking and, outside of Conflict I think Grantaire has more in common with him? He's a hedonist; Aziraphale is heavily into Earthly Pleasures like eating and drinking wine. Crowley has a stronger streak of general Disobedience, as does Enjolras. Plus I very much think Enjolras would take his anger out on his houseplants and Grantaire is clearly well-read

But then Grantaire and Crowley both fall in love first, whereas Enjolras and Aziraphale only seem to realise it after their respective counterbalance risks their life/paperwork for them.

So I've come to the conclusion that they aren't very comparable duos actually, thanks for wasting a minute or two with me. I hope nobody read the first line and thought this would genuinely be a good deconstruction I am just Very Bored and Sleepy.

* in the book Aziraphale proposes they kill warlock and in the series he literally pulls the trigger on Adam

Okay.

So Crowley and Aziraphale met after Adam and Eve. But does that or does that not mean that they were around but hadn’t met when Lilith was created? Because Lilith would have pushed them together if she could.

Also Crowley would have learnt most of his mannerisms from her and how to be queen bitch.
