With Nintendo revealing that we’ll be able to port designs over from ACNL to ACNH, I decided I’m going to be getting a head start. I’m gonna make Chief wear this.

figured out an easier way to make QR codes and tried my hand at a single tile pattern o(*>ω<*)o

Ok so I did a lil updating to the red brick path. I made the pattern for the bricks different for each piece, which makes it look less repetitive. Then I added some small, red flowers that are poking through the greenery. 

My towns colour theme is red, black and gold, so these paths are perfect! I love love love them so much, and I’m so proud of myself for making them :D I definitely want to make more paths in the future, it’s so much fun.

a cap based on one of my fave mythological creatures, the japanese futakuchi-onna - “the two-mouthed woman”

stories about her include a jealous woman who starves her step-daughter to death, only for the girl’s spirit to possess her step-mother and manifest as an endlessly hungry mouth on the back of the woman’s head, devouring all her food behind her back

another is about a miserly man who takes a wife who never eats, but somehow he’s still running out of food. he spies on her one day, and is horrified to see the back of her head split open, the second mouth feeding itself using her tendrils of long hair

Hullo all!

I know I haven’t done well to get this ball rolling, but I’m a rather busy man. I’ve also been feeling a bit depressed and struggling to keep the village clean. Part of this is stress over everyone being gone. Rose is already so rarely here and Aspen has been gone for a couple of months. Their yards are a mess from gifts, and Aspen’s mailbox is full.

Usually I do my best not to inhabit them, but I need to do something!

Upon conferring with another Mayor, ive decided to inhabit Aspen and save all his letters at the post. I’ll also put his gifts in envelopes to save with the letters. Then I’ll mail him a letter to himself explaining where it’s all kept!

I’m very relieved to have a plan of action, now to do the work!

Here’s the inside of my house right now! I love ambiance lighting~

My downstairs music is always kk lament. I love being able to hang things on the wall and have several super special items: the barrel cactus reminds me of Lynn, my sibling, the goldfish reminds me of Aspen, Claire gave me the dream catcher which I realize can’t be seen in any of these photos oops!

Here’s upstairs! Still small but pretty and cozy.

I love basically everything in this room. I was stoked to get the gnome in green and then blown away to see the purple stained glass lamp! And it’s hard to see but the flower wreath is gorgeous.

This room has no music, just the crackling of the cauldron. It’s very relaxing~

it’s…an actual path! I wanted a multi-piece path for my town so I finally made one. no corner pieces (yet at least) but the little insert squares work well.
