Coeur/Daydre/Fallacy

Fucking vampires, fucking vampire hierarchy, fucking Fallacy, thinking he was entitled to his human because Daydre shared a drink with him once. Now, here Coeur was, trying to sneak into Fallacyâs den or whatever, big fancy castle thing, to rescue his human.
Or well, the human that was part of his coven, but his coven, his human.
Phantasy could fuck right off if he thought otherwise.
But back to the matter at hand; there were people in this big ass castle, from Fallacyâs coven, who probably wouldnât take well to another Vampire Lord trespassing on private property, so he needed to make this quick, in and out, then back home, and before the sun rose, because while he wouldnât die from it, it certainly wouldnât be pleasant. Phantasy was lucky in that regard, Coeur supposed.
The castle loomed, grand and fancy and ridiculous, because covens were almost never that big. Loads of that castle was sure to be coated in layers of dust, unless Fallacy had somehow managed to find a hundred maids who wouldnât question the fact that their Lord never came out during the day.
Fat chance of that happening, thus, dusty ass castle. Served Fallacy right for trying to kidnap Daydre.Â
There were about two hours until sunrise, currently, and Coeur passively observed someone, Encre - and what the fuck the human Lord was doing coming into the Vampire Lordâs castle was a mystery that Coeur was in no hurry to unravel - entering the castle through the big front doors like he owned it, while carefully plotting how it was heâd get in.
Surely, heâd need to slip in unseen, preferably through a side door that servants may have used once, but was now abandoned. Lost in his musings as he was, Coeur did not hear the light footsteps creeping up from behind him, until a hand gently slid down his arm to grip his wrist firmly, and possessively.
âIâve been waiting for you, Coeur. Youâre late.â
Coeur jolted, and for a brief moment, terrified adrenaline ran through empty veins before he calmed himself. The corners of Fallacyâs lips tilted upwards, ever so slightly, into a condescending smirk. Coeur wanted to punch him, the smug asshole.
âDid you set up a fucking time to meet? I think the fuck not, now let go of me you ass,â Coeur snapped, yanking his arm from Fallacyâs grip, failing to do so, and stumbling back into a tree, the wood hitting his head with an unpleasant crack.Â
An unfortunate (from Coeurâs point of view, Fallacy rather enjoyed this) side effect of this was that now Fallacy was pushed against him, or pushing against him, really, and the mind concussion Coeur had obtained from hitting his head was clearly preventing him from thinking straight because the only thing on his mind in that instance was how warm Fallacyâs breath was on his lips, and how close their faces were, and how soft his lips might-
âDaydre, Love, you look cold over there,â Fallacy purred lowly, leaning away and Coeur almost wanted to protest before he realised what exactly was going on. He was not going to want Fallacy, of all people, in any way at all, and focused on the fact that Daydre was here. âCome closer.â
Oh, and that Fallacy was apparently on familiar enough terms to call him âLoveâ quite affectionately too, that was important.
âWhat the fuck is going on.â He felt that his reply was justified, even if Fallacy rolled his eyes.
âCoeur,â Daydre whined. âYouâre not that dumb. Itâs so obvious.â
âWhat? No, itâs most certainly fucking not! One of my coven is apparently familiar with another covenâs lord, of all members that one might be familiar with, and now Iâm feeling things that I should not be feeling.â
Had Coeur been paying attention, he might have noticed Daydre grinning mouthing the words âpay up,â while Fallacy, for a split-second, dropped his composure to be visibly astounded, and rather quite flustered, by Coeurâs impromptu confession.
Alas, Coeur was not being particularly observant in that second, and gave Fallacy ample time to both re-compose himself and think of a witty reply.Â
âEloquently put, Mon Coeur.â
âOh fuck you youâre not the one with the concussion.â
âThat was the plan, yes, though as youâve mentioned, perhaps we should ensure your good health before continuing with such things? Iâm quite sure Daydre would agree that as important as our... advances are, your continued health is the priority.â
It was not often that ancient and noble vampire lords were reduced to incoherent spluttering. Then again, it was not often that noble and ancient vampire lords fell in love either, and certainly not with each other, much less with a third party, and all concurrently, at that, so perhaps this was just a time of strange and statistically unlikely things.
Coeur had experienced many things, many things, both strange and wonderful, and being propositioned by another vampire lord was probably the strangest (and most wonderful, though it would take a little time getting through the denial for him to accept that) experience yet.
âWell?â Daydre asked. âItâs getting early and thatâll be fun for no one.â
âPatience, love, heââ
âI have confessed, and Iâm not doing it again,â Coeur snapped, and if he wasnât boxed in by Fallacy heâd probably have crossed his arms. âYes toâwhatever this is.â
And it was with an uncharacteristically soft smile that Fallacy kissed him once more.
