Cafe Trip [murderousmorality]
“Mmmm, really?” she said, if only to make more conversation. What caught her ear the most was the introduction of a new (but familiar) name. “Sayaka, is it? Ryoko. Ryoko Asakura. It’s always a pleasure to meet someone new… and with such a great shade of hair.”
Blue would always be a color she would be partial to.
The alien gave the counter’s cases another glance, finishing up her count of what they had for sale today. Cinnamon rolls or Mexican sweet bread seemed tempting. Though what really tempted Ryoko was the familiar feeling she was getting from just being near Sayaka.
Had she ever seen her around? “I haven’t. I live in one of Sector 1′s neighborhoods so I mostly linger around there. Sometimes I stroll through here when I have free time.” She beamed at the other blunette and gave a shrug. ”I’ve actually been here for a rather long time now, but I’m still trying to cover every inch of this place. Part of me needs to know this city like the back of my hand!”
Sayaka’s cheeks flushed a bit at the compliment. She never thought of her hair as anything special, but it was sort of unique, she supposed. “Oh, thanks! Nice to meet you, too, Ryoko!” she grinned, moving some of her bangs out of her face.
“Ah, I get that! I’m sort of bad at getting to know this place myself, but one sector at a time, I’ll get it!” So Ryoko wasn’t too far away, being a sector off. Still, it was amazing she could familiarize herself with Sector 001. As Sayaka recalled, that was the one where the buildings moved around. Creepy. She was glad she didn’t live there. Getting lost was easy enough here in 006.
“I’ve only been here for a few months. This place still feels kinda weird for me. I guess it’ll never really feel like home...” Her gaze fell back on the dessert case. The smell of all the treats reminded her of a bakery she liked to visit back in Mitakihara. She briefly wondered if she’d ever see it again.
“I guess this place will have to do for now,” she smiled, leaning over to examine the danishes. How many should I get...
