Had to share this cause it was funny
In Diabolical Box, the puzzle about the food Professor Layton and Luke ate is different in the JP version
Also in the JP version, there are options of alcohol drinks
And the first hint you get from this puzzle literally says "You think Professor Layton, the English gentleman, would drink alcohol in daytime?!"
I already knew the puzzle was different but didn't know the hint said that. And it's so hillarious knowing it now
This Nene's outfit is so pretty-pretty 😭💕 I want to draw something with it someday
come on😀mention my favourite character😀i am well adjusted😀and will act very normal😀i assure you😀
Arknights Endfield story spoilers
Wait, wait, I was playing Endfield, not Elden Ring!!! :O
But speaking seriously, yaaay! They made a really epic fight :D I was mostly neautral about the previous Nefarith boss fight, I don't even remember its details, but I enjoyed this one very much, when it comes to gameplay side. Once again, it was so epic and beautiful! When it comes to the story side... Well... I just wish some things were made differently, but anyway. I also got spoilers about this Nefarith's form like the same day when this story chapter was released, so yeah, it's bitter-sweet overall 😭 At least I'm happy about the boss fight itself, I do feel like replaying it again
A true waifu of this game, once again, just look at him, look at him
Take the ooc stage magician AU Layton. Don't ask questions
You can ask them to take a pose for a photo, and... just look at him XD It looks like he's been waiting for this moment his whole life!
...well, he did
You really can tell that he's practicing it a lot, haha 😅
I wonder how many people Layton remembers... I just thought that it would be heartwarming, if he remembered not only countless amount of puzzles, but also who, where and how told him them for the first time. Considering that Layton is the type of person who likes to challenge his brain, can that brain remember everybody? In this case Layton's collection of puzzles isn't just a "list" of puzzles, but also a whole chest of memories related to different places and people.
Just like we might have our favourite things (merch, books, clothes, any other things...) not only because we found and liked them someday, but also because they're connected with something or somebody dear to you.
Layton says "this reminds me of a puzzle", and he remembers not only a puzzle, but also a person behind that puzzle: maybe a dear friend, maybe some random stranger who doesn't even remember Layton, maybe a foe, maybe somebody who isn't even alive anymore.
Wouldn't be this beautiful? 🎩
You make this theory even more beautiful and cute, thank you 🥺
Honestly, you're so right about social currency XD No matter where you go, the puzzles look like the universal way of communication of any people in any situations! I tried to explain this to myself about Curious Village, that it was like this there only because all the people there were robots, buuut Diabolical Box is ppretty the same! And it's pretty beautiful, that Layton in this kind is the ⭐master⭐ of social currency :)
I love how you put it >///< It indeed can be so heartwarming, so cute and kind way of remembering that you live for <something> good, that you're actually doing something great for other people - and all these things are done with a connection to that thing, puzzles, which you sincerely like. I bet this could make Layton's days brighter sometimes, to know and remember all of these 🥺 I don't know his backstory yet, but I already heard and saw hints that he had very tragic life, so it sounds like a warm anchor for our gentleman to keep going no matter what.
really tiny luke doodle before class starts ^^
they should make a new type of like button called the sad like for when your mutual is suffering agonies
beloved mutual: i,m so sick and i got fired also my whole family died in a house fire
me:
That was indeed so fun >///<
I was like...
At first just trying random options. Then sitting for like 5-10-15 minutes, staring at the puzzle without moving and trying to process it. And then -
..and finally the solution is found :D It's so pleasant feeling, really satisfying kind of puzzles.

Thank you 🥺💕
Hehe, I see, it looks like he does have sentiment like this in him, remembering some peoples-puzzles connections ^^ At least partially, but heey, knowing that in-canon we did hear something like this, is already so nice, and ESPECIALLY about Layton, in whose case it's hard sometimes to get what he's thinking or feeling 😅
Ohh, it would be so cute of him >///< Especially if somebody managed to bring an unusual or a new puzzle to him (-> not from the closest store, which stock Layton probably remembers by heart xD ), which made him *think* for a while; if he'd mention while speaking with a student, that their puzzle was good to test his wits, it can be considered both as praise and a sign that Layton DOES solve the puzzles he receives and not just puts them into a box without looking ^^
I wonder what Layton's face would express in this moment XD Respect? Admiration? Envy? 😅

Layton & Luke:
Still, the more I look at Chelmey, the more I feel some strange kind of... empathy? I mean, he just looks like a man who's probably really cool in what he's doing, but he's just veeery tired of everything already, and that's why it's hard for him to give it his all.
Or maybe I'm wrong, and in reality Chelmey actually doesn't care about anything just because he's this kind of person, but well xD I don't know him well yet, so let's see~ I just had such an impression about "cool, but burnt out", because he does have observation and thinking skills and experience, it's visible in how he's making his own investigation, and if he put just a little more effort, then who knows how things would be.
---
(of course I'm joking about Layton & Luke's reaction, I posted it before even reading what Layton said next xD He's a gentleman like always, I expected nothing less)
