i was talking to a friend, then I saw a crying child a few metres away. I walked up, earnestly asked what's wrong. Her mom chimed in and said "where's your mom?" I replied: "she's over there, but I'm not a little kid" and her response was "well clearly your having some issues with yourself" in reference to the visible wounds on my thighs (my swim shorts rode up when I was sitting with the friend mentioned at the beginning).
