Does anyone else get like... Super giddy and happy when readers guess a future plot point from foreshadowing? Because I love it when people do

Or if you're a reader, do you get super happy when you guess something correctly from foreshadowing?

Having subtle foreshadowing is SO MUCH better than having plot twists out of nowhere, correctly guessing a plot point is one of the best feelings in the world ngl

BIG AGREE??? foreshadowing is one of my fave things both as a writer and a reader!!! I love analyzing and theorizing and I love seeing other people do that too! I honestly kinda hate big plot twists that come out of nowhere. It just feels... Bad and makes me as a reader/viewer feel bad because it's jarring!!! I wanna be able to read into things and analyze things without thinking someone's gonna pull the rug from under me with a bizarre plot twist.

it’s so weird not being friends with people that used to be really important to u like u never stop being reminded of them bc their personalities and sense of humor and so many little details about them will always be in ur brain like u could see something in a store and think “they would like that” or watch a video and think “they would think this is funny” or even just the most random shit will make u think of them and it’s such a weird feeling
