i think completely pre transition trans people should be able to wear one tiny little pronoun pin and get gendered correctly every time. i think cis people should be transitioning just for the fun of it if they want to. i think you should be able to walk into any pharmacy and just buy hrt. i think that little boys should be able to sit in circles and play with dolls and paint each other's nails and make friendship bracelets. i think that little girls should be able to play with flaming monster trucks and play football and get competitive over video games. i think that arson (he/it/paw) should have paw's identity respected and treated as completely normal. i think that we should normalize neopronouns and weird genders and being weird or unusual in general. you should be able to explain your weird one of a kind xenogender to the least queer person on the planet and they should say "oh that's cool!! haven't heard of that gender before". you should be able to wear a tail in public you should be able to make out with your computer if you want i don't fucking care. i love transgenders i love neurodivergent people i love furries i love everyone outside the norm i love freaks i love nerds i love everyone.

April is “Autism Awareness Month”, so here are a few reminders for you to keep in mind:
Autism Speaks is a hate group.
The reasoning behind “Light It Up Blue” (that there are more autistic boys than girls) stems from a tendency in doctors to base their autism diagnoses on stereotypes and sometimes refuse to diagnose girls.
Most autistic people don’t want a “cure” for autism and don’t support Autism Speaks.
Autism Speaks has given abusive/ableist parents legitimacy by portraying autism as a terrifying, life-ruining affliction and sympathising with parents who have contemplated killing their children, or actually killed them.
The views of autistic people are more important in this topic than the views of our allistic family members and peers.
Autism is not a disease.
Very little (about 4%) of Autism Speaks’ proceeds go toward supporting autistic people. More of it goes toward catering.
Autism is not a tragedy.
What autistic people need is acceptance, not awareness.
Singin’ ta a whole ass city ta get em ta nap is ain’t even the weirdest part of my life
Gotham really likes Billie Eilish btw

Reblog daily for health and prosperity.
now we just need this level of sitewide vitriol over the mass banning and harassment of trans women 🥰
Be careful of the double-speak in the Update Post.
Staff has officially posted an update regarding the reblog decoupling, and while they are reversing the change for now, we need to look closely at the language they are using. This is a classic example of corporate "double speak" designed to de-escalate a PR crisis while keeping the door open for the same harmful features later.
The Post: Reblog Update: We’re Reversing the Change
The Red Flag:
"We still believe there's a better version of how reblogs can work. One that gives every voice in a chain the credit it deserves. But we want to get there with you."
The Breakdown: When they say they want to give every voice the credit it deserves, they are still justifying the decoupling of notes. They are framing the destruction of the original creator's attribution as a feature for the rebloggers or the loss of community. Their goal hasn't changed. They just realized their current execution was a technical and social disaster.
They also mention working "directly with some of you." This often means selecting a small, curated group of "power users" who may not prioritize the accessibility or safety needs that we have been fighting for.

I am organizing a lights out protest on tumblr, from March 20th 6AM UTC until March 21st 6AM UTC. It is best if as many tumblr users as possible can join this protest, as a mass downtime in users is the only way the tumblr staff will listen to us.
If you cherish this hellsite, participate. Do your bit. Every person counts.
Thank you for reading, and to @staff @changes: give us our tumblr back, or the people will migrate somewhere else. This is a threat.

Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes
The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve.
Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.
If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.
Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.
This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!
It’s very clear that you all have strong feelings about Tumblr and about this change. We hear you. The passion people have for how Tumblr works is one of the things that makes this place special.
As this rolls out over the next few days and you explore it, we’ll keep reading your replies and reblogs, so please keep sharing your questions, concerns, and ideas.
Your creativity has always been the heart of Tumblr, whether you’re the original poster or adding something brilliant in the reblogs, and nothing about this change is meant to limit that.
If you’d like to talk directly beyond the comments, leave a reply and we’ll follow up with as many of you as we can. We want to work with you to make Tumblr better.
We already know how we feel about it and how it’s going to work, which is not at all. You cannot possibly think this won’t drive most of Tumblr users away. We don’t want this to work like every other social media website. We want it to work like Tumblr. We want engagement and to see the notes and comments we get and the conversations people have under our posts. That’s what makes this site at least a little fun. I enjoy seeing every single note I get from everyone. And I get hundreds daily. I like it that way. We all do. Fix this or your website actually will be stale and dead like everyone who isn’t on Tumblr thinks it is. This is going to be a lot of people’s last straw. People will leave, delete their blogs, delete their accounts, get on less, post less, reblog less, comment less, leave less notes, because there will be no point if OP can’t see our thoughts and the love they get on a post they made or prev can’t give feedback or add onto the original and OP be able to see it. The only reason I will be sticking around is because this is the only place I have to reach a lot of my friends. Other than that I may not even post anymore. Which will be really disappointing given the community I’ve built here and am very proud of. Please take this update back. I don’t know who thought this would make people happy but their numbers are so extremely wrong. This would actually kill Tumblr and cause damage to your reputation you quite frankly can’t afford anymore. If you care at all about your users and want to keep Tumblr alive you will take this update back. It’s only going to go downhill if you don’t. We don’t want to try it because we’ve seen how it kills engagement on places like Twitter and that’s exactly why we are on Tumblr in the first place. Take back the update.
Me and @baby-gotham are talking about how cool a symbiote version of Gotham would be that she can become one with Izakk and give him her powers and alter his appearance it would be unbelievably cool
We may think about it but we still think Izakk being just a guy is infinitely more funny
Ooc: :D
I don’t know why I keep calling @baby-gotham my roommate when I mean them
I mean they’re mine and my sister’s roommate but still I mean Levi
We finally just live together
