Jefferson: and it's too many damn pages for any man to understand
Angelica (bursts in): you called?
Angelica, while she watches Eliza burn all of Alexander's letters: Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself, Please don't burn yourself.
Starter call anyone?
I hate that people don’t realize the fact that the real Alexander Hamilton did in fact have a close relationship to Peggy Schuyler. While it was not ‘romantic’ like his relations to Angelica and Eliza, him and Peggy got along quite well. He would pay her little compliments through letters, ask about her in letters to Eliza, and even stayed with her while she was dying. To elaborate, when she was deathly ill and clearly not going to last long, Alexander was near her home due to work reasons, and she asked him stay with her for a few more weeks. Alexander accepted nearly instantly, even though he was very homesick at the time. When she died, Alexander was still there on her request. Eliza was actually informed of her sister’s death by Alexander himself through a letter. While they may not have been as close as others, Alexander and Peggy were in no means strangers to one another.
Every one should go to bed. Let’s all go to bed and figure this out in the morning
the earlier in the day you reblog this the funnier it gets
❛ I love you more and more every hour. The sweet SOFTNESS and delicacy of your mind and manners, the elevation of your sentiments, the real GOODNESS of your heart, its tenderness to me, the beauties of your face and person, your unpretending good sense and that innocent simplicity and frankness which pervade your actions. ❜ -Alexander Hamilton, July 1780

(Babyschuyler) "How did you accidentally buy sixty birthday cakes?"
this meme
“I didn’t.”
It’s said with the utmost innocence, that smile belying a thousand motives. She’s so sickly sweet in her revenge, just like her sixty cakes.
“But now we have cake for the dance. Cake that we didn’t have to pay for. It serves that weasel right, saying women shouldn’t have the rights of man. Surprise, guess what’s going to be on your tab! Maybe since it’s man’s job to hold land and money, he won’t mind shelling it out.”
I highly recommend you follow the person I reblogged this from.

My muse is dead. Tell me how yours is dealing with it.

she SHUSHED her sister gently, wishing for the tremble in their voice to settle, for there to be a wave of safety & security in her arms, if nothing else. dark locks BOUNCE as eliza nods, continuing to hold on as she wracks her brain to catch up; this is for her precious sister. ❛ of course, i just need you to help me, i want to– i want to do right by you. can i still call you– call you peggy? are you still my sister? what else can i do to make you comfortable? ❜
Peggy laid their head on Eliza’s chest, breathing deeply. They nod, eyes shutting in comfort. “I still want to be called Peggy. I don’t- I don’t know if I still want to be a sister or not. I’ve thought about it, but I’m not sure,” Peggy mumbled. “I’ll tell you when I know though.” They wished they had an answer for their sister, but some things just took a little longer.

“You. Me. Cuddle. Now.”
“Don’t move, I just got comfy.”
“I’m scared, hold me!”
“I bit my lip. Will you kiss it better?”
“Tickle war has been declared!”
“Bunny pyjamas, really?”
“I’ve never seen so many kittens in one place.”
“Come on, just one bite.”
“How do you accidentally buy sixty birthday cakes?”
“I never imagined you were so… ticklish.”
“You’re so huggable.”
“You’re under arrest for being too cute. Put your hands where I can hold them.”
“Have you fallen asleep on me?”
“Am I dead?”
“Another one?”
“And what if I don’t?”
“Are you afraid of God?”
“Are you crazy?”
“Are you lost?”
“Are you really that shallow?”
“Are you sure it’s okay?”
“Are you sure there were no…
“How do you really feel about me?”
“Can’t you pretend to love me this once?”
“Would you care if I was gone?”
“Don’t you know the hell I go through to keep you safe?”
“I can’t take this any longer. Help me.”
“Deep down, you’re scared. Aren’t you?”
“You’ll stay alone if you push others away.”
“How many lives have you taken with your own hands?”
“Just for today. Please.”
“You’re the only one who’s never called me that…”
“We can make it work! Let’s run away together, you and me!”
“I… have loved you this whole time.”
“Treat me as you see fit. I’ll still protect you. It’s my role after all.”
“Maybe it’s too much for me to expect kindness.”
“You give me meaning, even if you take it away.”
“Please… hold me. Don’t say anything, just… hold me.”
“Woah, when did you get that?”
“Who did this to you?”
“How many time have I told you to be more careful?”
“You’re saying this was an accident?”
“What a shiner!”
“If you look like this, I’d hate to see the other guy.”
“I’m not buying it, you don’t walk into a door and get a bruise like that!”
“Does it hurt when I touch it?”
“Let me kiss it better.”
“If you don’t rest, you won’t heal.”
“Another fight?”
“What happened to your face?”
“I don’t think your arm is meant to bend like that…”
“Let’s get you to bed.”
“Let’s get you to the hospital.”
“Why are you so calm about this?”
“You’re bleeding!”
“What are friends for, ey?”
“So, instead of helping you, they ran off the moment they saw what was happening?”
“You need to look where you’re going.”
“I’m not accusing anyone, I’m just saying it looks suspicious.”
“Do you want to tell me what really happened?”
“Don’t move! You’ll faint!”
“I’ve got some bandages, wait a sec.”
“You’re the clumsiest person I know.”
“I won’t let you be on your own, not when you’re like this.”
“How could you be so careless?”
“I can’t even look at you, you promised not to get into any more fights!”
“H-how many of them were there?”
“Do you want to build a snowman?”
“The past is in the past.”
“I’m where I’m meant to be.”
“I know you!”
“A dream is a wish your heart makes.”
“People down here think I’m crazy, but I don’t care.”
“For once, it might be grand to have someone understand.”
“Just look at the world around you!”
“Someday my prince will come.”
“If you had the chance to change your fate, would you?”
“If you cut it down, then you’ll never know.”
“But you’ll never know me.”
“Don’t you dare close your eyes.”

“You’re scared of that, aren’t you?”
“Don’t touch her/him!”
“It’s cute that you tried to protect me and all, but you’re like a foot shorter than me, you know?”
“I will always step in between you and something like that.”
“Why? Because I don’t want you to get hurt, that’s why!”
“Do you think just because my feet don’t touch the bottom of the pool that I need a floatie?”
“The stepping stool is unecessary.”
“I’m not apologizing for what I said to that asshole/jerk… He/she was saying terrible things about you.”
“If you say another word about her/him, you’ll regret it.”

“You can hold onto me if you’re scared, you know?”
“I’m not leaving you alone. Not now, not ever.”
“Let’s all watch a different movie. This one freaks her/him out.”
“I get where you’re coming from dude, but honestly shut the hell up and don’t talk about her/him that way.”
“She/He isn’t an object.”
“She/he told me what you did, and all I’m gonna do is tell you to stay away.”
“You don’t know anything about her/him!”
“What? You think that was funny? You just insulter her/him, and expect me to laugh?”
“I’m not gonna let you put up with that.”
“Really, if you told me to I’d go punch them for you.”
“Wait, let me walk you home.”
“I’ll drive you, please– please don’t go like this.”
“It’s dangerous.”
“I’m worried about you.”
“I meant it when I said I would protect you.”

“I’m not perfect, but I’m trying my hardest to do everything to keep you safe.”
“Stay behind me.”
“I promised your mom to make sure you didn’t do anything stupid tonight.”
“I love you. Of course I’m gonna defend you like that.”
“No, he/she isn’t good enough to take you out. Trust me, I know.”
“Are you planning to stay glued to my side this whole evening?”
“I’ll be okay, because I know you’re back here ready to step in if I need you.”
“Thank you for always sticking with me.”
“I’m really worried about her/him, but I don’t think he/she wants me to call.”
“I don’t know what I would do if something happened to you.”
“Like, I don’t expect to ever have to take a bullet for you, but I would.”
