Hello my joys and whimsies! Sorry I haven’t been posting and reblogging much lately. Been taking a small break from Tumblr and other social medias🫧
But! I went to a vintage market with my s/o’s little sibling and we had a good time and found some cool stuff! I even saw two of my tattoo artists there and some other people I know. It was a joyful and whimsical time!
What’s been joyful and/or whimsical for you guys lately? Sometimes taking time to remember and reflect on good things can be just as helpful as the good things themselves :)
Ok, I don't usually write things at all but there is basically 0 Shrek agere content anywhere so I'm gonna try! Just keep in mind I'm not a writer so it probably isn't that well written...
General Agere HCs
He had no idea what age regression was until he found it in a book when trying to improve himself for Fiona's sake when they first got married
(at least he is trying to improve even if it's not for himself)
At first he completely dismissed it entirely, he had been alone doing his own thing for years! He doesn't need help with coping, he doesn't even have anything worthy enough to need a coping mechanism! (Sure bud...)
But he later came around to it after Fiona helped him through it, even telling him she regressed from time to time
Cg Specific HCS
He is very attentive to a little's needs, he doesn't want to be like his own father or possibly abandon one in their time of need
He loves doing messy activities with his littles, though mainly ones outside. Due to living in swamp they tend to get good privacy (especially after getting some good fences installed due to the tour bus)
Oh a little who has very weird and oddly specific food requests/ needs? He is up for it! He is a pretty good cook despite what many would assume
If he has a little and he isn't available to watch them then he will first ask Fiona but if she also can't then Uncle Donkey it is! He's the fun uncle and Dragon is gonna keen you safe
He often does worry that he isn't good enough to be a caregiver at times, he worries he will mess them up like how he was when he grew up but Fiona and his little would reassure him
Regressor Specific HCs
I personally think he would have a wide range, 0-12 but I think more stressed he is the younger he regresses
He is definitely a bit more emotional than he normally is when regressed, he tends to bottle things up until they explode out.
If you leave 0-6 little Shrek anywhere near anything remotely messy? It will get everywhere, including the ceiling. He will reluctantly get in a bath if you bribe him with his snacks afterwards
When he is 7-12 he is pretty independent and loves doing gross stuff like mud slides and squishing bugs
But he will get upset if he is left alone for more than 30 minutes (on a good day). He doesn't really like being alone at that age, bad memories of having to live on his own so young.
When 4-6 he is is more clingy, he loves making kingdoms with blocks and pretending he is a big dragon tearing it all down! He also loves watching movies too, stuff like Monsters Inc especially.
When he's 0-3 that is when he is absolutely the most clingy, he will refuse to leave Fiona's side. This is when he is the most fussy, this is also when he put just about everything he can into his mouth so you have to watch him or he will eat something that's not actually food
Flip Specific HCs
I think both Shrek and Fiona are flips I think Shrek is reg-lean while Fiona is cg lean. But I think it hits harder when Fiona regresses than it does for Shrek
While Shrek has a reg-lean he is still very much a cg and up for watching any little when needed!
If someone else is regressed before him he will go into cg headspace easily, if someone regresses after he is already regressed he will usually get older and take on a big bro role, sometimes he does regress younger if he is stressed though
For him it depends day-to-day what headspace will happen
