I have many thoughts on that finale but not time to really go through them now. But I wanna say that as finales go, it was pretty good. Once again it was way too packed, which let to some anticlimactic scenes and I would have loved a lot more time on many things. But alas, that’s how the finales always seem to be with 911. I still enjoyed the episode a lot.
Theo will be a big theme next season so I didn’t need more of it in this episode.
As for Buddie. I’m not watching only for Buddie and especially not only for Buddie canon. But I have to say I’m more positive about gay Eddie and Buddie canon happening in season 10 than any other season. This season’s built up has been steady and different compared to other seasons. The family dynamic isn’t just brothers anymore. They have been shown as partners in so many scenes, like in the hospital scene. Buck didn’t need to be there, but he was.
Excited for May’s sl next season too. And also nice to have Athena as a detective, makes sense for the show and her character.
All in all I really liked this season. Probably goes to my top 3 seasons.
I would be lying if I said I was happy that they brought the donor baby back. I would also lie if I said that I didn’t love some scenes a lot and all in all it was a good episode again. This season will go on my top 3 season of 911, I’ve really liked it a lot.
This Theo sl leaking was actually a good thing, my reaction would have been worse without it.
It’s kinda like with Bobby in many ways. It leaking has given me time to process and even though I’m not happy they went there, it doesn’t stop me from enjoying what it brings to the table. Especially next season when they are past this horribly forced set up.
I was really impressed with the immigrants sl, I didn’t think the network would have allowed the inclusion of ice, but it’s so important they did it.
The Maddie sl was funny but also important because that happens often, I’ve had a friend become a boss and it didn’t change anything (we were quite young then so I think that helped), but I’ve also seen how it does and also how big of a problem it can be if you are too friendly with your boss. I hope they will continue with this theme.
Spoiler speculation so don’t read forward if that’s not your thing.
I’m happy they are making Athena a detective. I think it makes sense for her character and the show.
As Buck possibly having a baby/kid sl. I’m not against it per se, I just wish it’s not the donor baby. Like Buck fostering a kid could be interesting.
Also, please people. Don’t crash out. It’s so unnessary and unhealthy and we know so little it’s not good to doom. Nor is the episode only four scenes (if even all these scenes make the cut). Nor does it negate any other storylines at all.
you say this random ass man being eddie’s “tommy” would be a good thing. comparing this man to a disgusting racist misogynist prick is not the serve you think it is. yall are so fucking obsessed with eddie fucking random men he has zero connection with and it’s fucking infuriating to see like how on earth would eddie dating a random ass man be a good thing?? just further shitting in the fandom’s face by saying “oh we’ll make both of them queer but we’re still not gonna put them together teehee 🤭” literally fuck off
Jfc. Not gonna answer anymore than this, so don’t bother to send anymore asks.

Such an intriguing episode off 911, wasn’t what I expected, but in a good way. The shady cop must be the plot that is continuing next season, right? I wonder if it’s about the human trafficking thing and the buildings talked about in the last episode were part of it. Or something completely different.
I didn’t expect 911 to have this topic but I’m glad that they did. Also the higher ups so willing to believe the new white guy before the poc color firefighters was on point, well done on that 911.
Also what is Buck looking at in the promo?!?
You and that chain of command
Do YOU celebrate Ryan Guzman day? 😉

wow, didn't expect that ending scene would make me feel like this. Like I love when my fave characters are hurt, why do I felt like crying when I saw it.
I am excited about the storyline though. And I don't think Eddie fully believed Buck being ok, but he chose a different strategy, because he wasn't getting through to him.
I read that as Buck being so anxious that he has to take the pills. But that canb easily turn into an addiction, if he isn't there already. Depends how much time has passed.
I love the Buckley-Diaz family so much though.
12 hours to go until 9x13!
I actually think this is a really good watch. I hope they would do more things like this and not just for a crossover. I love to hear about these bts things.
Also it’s lovely to hear how nice and no ego people Oliver and Ryan were (not that it was surprising) and how excited they were about the games and to be in Nashville, it really shows too in their performances and interviews.
Also love the meantion about Oliver and Ryan drawing a crowd 😅
I know a lot of people weren’t happy with the crossover, but I just wanna point out some good stuff we got.
- more Buddie in general
- Buck just wanting to spend the night in with Eddie
- But Eddie was feeling free and happy and wanted to go out
- Eddie basically choosing Buck’s outfit
- ott competitive Buck, and Eddie indulging him
- Eddie going feral the second Buck was pushed
- Shirtless Buddie
- Buck and Eddie on an electric bull
- Buddie wearing cowboy hats
- Eddie not caring about women at all, even in Nashville
Forget the Buck/Dixie, it was pitched by the Nashville writers and was about Dixie, not Buck. A scene which doesn’t matter at all. This episode didn’t really matter at all when it comes to the storylines in the og.
Also Oliver and Ryan really seemed to enjoy shooting the crossover and hanging with the cast and crew.
